Designed to fit in either the front or back seat of your vehicle, the contoured back ensures a snug fit inside of your vehicle. The K&H Bucket Booster securely buckles in and your seat belt is hidden under the removable cushion. It is extremely easy and quick to install and uninstall. The front dips down so your pet can easily get in and out, and has a firm foam bolster around the edge. We bought the small size car seat for our 4 month old, 5 lb. Maltese. My husband thought it would be a good idea to leave it in the house so she could get use to sitting in it before we strapped her in it in the car. He put the carrier on the couch beside him where Harleigh sits & placed her favorite fleece blanket over the chair with her favorite toy in the seat. Next thing we saw was our 7 lb. cat curled up in the chair purring! Short story…that chair is now our cat’s new bed & we had to buy another pet carrier for the puppy to use in the car! Lol!! Both our fur babies love the chairs! It took about 3 minutes to secure the pet carrier in the car. It was easy to remove the cushion & run the seat belt strap thru the 2 pet seat slots. Hardest part for me was crawling over the pet seat to click the strap into the car’s seat belt attachment. I am short so I just had trouble reaching across the chair to connect the seat belt strap to secure it. It took a few minutes after we started driving for Harleigh to get use to sitting in the chair & not being held. We gave her a puppy toy and a treat & she calmed down. It also took a minute for her to realize she could see out the window! We had discussed getting a piece of foam cut to put under her seat cushion to raise her up if needed, but she could see fine. Chair was padded enough that no metal pieces could be felt by her. We also put her fleece blanket over the chair before we put her in the seat. Thought it would have her scent & help relax her… plus it kept the chair clean. There were zippers around the chair so it looked easy to take off & wash if needed… but she likes her blanket so we will just wash that when needed. Love the fact there are straps to hold her in the chair. First, I don’t need her getting out of the chair and crawling between the front seats while I am driving…and second, should I have to stop abruptly, the straps will keep her from being thrown or tossed. So far we have no negative comments about this pet car seat. Highly recommend it! We did purchase the small chair & it has plenty of room for Harleigh & her toys. Honestly we are glad we purchased the 2nd car seat. Our cat absolutely loves this chair! We ended up putting her blanket over it and she sleeps in her chair every day! It’s absolutely adorable!! She wants it on the couch…so she’s on the couch in the pet chair and the puppy is on the couch beside her!! ... show more

If you want your furbaby to be comfortable on a long road trip or even just everyday trips then I highly recommend this carseat! My Dog absolutely Loves her new carseat! Big plus too because it’s raised some so your pet can look out the window and see where your going. I really like that the seat belt went through one side of the seat and out the other to hold it down tight and didn’t just have some sort of clips that held it in place like some I have seen does. After you fix the seatbelt through and tighten it down, then just put the cushion back in and hook the tethers to your dogs harness and tighten them to wherever is needed and your dog will be good to go.😁 I was actually amazed that my girl didn’t try one time the whole trip to get out of her carseat because I had purchased one before that was made totally different and I couldn’t keep her from trying to climb out of it and finally just took it and put it up. But with this carseat, She was sitting in it like she was big stuff for a long part of our trip but then she started getting tired and as the pics show she stretched out and that was it until we would stop to get gas or at rest areas. But actually do recommend buying a size larger than what is recommended for your dog because although mine only weighs around 15 lbs, I really don’t think she would have had enough room to stretch her long legs out or would have been as comfortable if I had bought her a smaller size seat that her weight called for. But as far as the seat goes, yes, I would definitely recommend this carseat to anyone who wants their dog to be safe and comfortable at the same time. 😊 ... show more
