  • Brass is Better
Size: 72-82mm
There are much cheaper adapter rings. But with those cheaper aluminum rings, there comes a time when one binds up and becomes permanently affixed to your favorite filter (probably your CPL, because as you turn the filter it will tighten onto the adapter ring). I have a wrench made to separate those rings, but it’s not always enough. I have put them in the freezer to shrink the metal. All the tricks. So far I haven’t had to destroy an adapter, but I’ve come close. So now, any time I get a specific adapter ring, I pay for the good stuff. Not because it does a better job holding my filter in place, but because it does a better job letting go. This adapter is very well-machined and screws onto my lenses almost silently. Nice! This ring came in a nice clamshell case with a foam insert, and while it’s nice, it’s also pretty bulky. It’s good to take care of your nice things, though. ... show more

  • High Quality Knurled Rings for Easy Screw On/Off and Brass Construction for Sturdy Yet Light Fit
Size: 52-77mm
There comes a time when you just don't have a lot of room for multiple sizes of the same filters. What do you do? That's an easy question to answer - you use a step up (or step down) ring. This K&F Concept 52mm to 77mm Step-Up Lens Filter Adapter Ring is a sturdy, yet affordable, step up ring to answer just that problem. One of most used telephoto lenses is a 24 - 120 mm lens with a 77mm diameter lens. Having bought several filters specifically fitting that lens for a project I decided I wanted duplicate the effect with my basic 50 mm lens. Rather than buying additional filters for the 50 mm lens I got this 52mm to 77mm step up ring. The ring screwed onto the 52mm diameter lens easily (though care should be taken not to overtighten the adapter, especially if you don't have a lens wrench) and the 77mm diameter filters screwed easily into the step up adapter. Thus, by use of the step up filter adapter ring I doubled the number of the speialized filters. The picture attached to this review shows a 77mm Neutral Night Pollution lens fitting onto a Nikon 50 mm lens (52mm diam.). Although thiis is not one of those specialized filters it does show the fitment possible with this step up adapter. If you are in the market for a step-up adapter that is sturdy yet light I strongly recommend that this K&F Concept 52mm to 77mm Step-Up Lens Filter Adapter Ring should be at or near the top of your consideration list. I give it a soft 5 star rating. (Please see below for my rating criteria): Disclosure: As noted by Amazon, I am part of the Vine Program which means that I acquire products at no cost in return for a truthful rating. However, although Vine Members pay nothing up front to get these free products they are considered by the Internal Revenue Service as taxable income at the full retail price at the time we get them and we, therefore, must pay taxes on these items. On a more personal note I often read reviews for products I am considering buying and rely on those reviews that are detailed and come off as honest and full reviews on the product. I therefore try my best to give a true and honest review based on my own experiences with the product. My Rating Scale: 1 star. This is the absolute lowest I can go and is a definite recommendation against being purchased. 2 stars. Less than average - having issues that I try to delineate in my review. I personally would not pay for this item. 3 stars. Average - neither great nor terrible. It will do the job it is supposed to do but without any obvious good or bad issues.I might or might not buy this item depending on the severity of my need or want. 4 stars. While the product is better than average it is not an excellent product. I would probably buy this product. 5 stars. Enough above average that it exceeds my expectations of how the product would and should perform. A product getting this rating is highly recommended. Further middle ratings: The above explanation is the base of the recommendations I give in a review. Some ratings are further rated as soft (1/2 star below), solid (the star rating given) or strong (1/2 star above) ... show more

  • Great quality step ring!
Size: 67-77mm
I have lenses with filter sizes from 77mm down to 58mm. When purchase filters, like circular polarizers or neutral density filters, it would be really expensive to have high quality filters in each of the sizes to fit my different lenses. That's where step rings come to the rescue. I buy those filters at 77mm and use step rings to fit them on smaller diameter lenses. This 67mm to 77mm is really a nice quality. It is beautifully finished and made of brass. Brass filters and step rings are preferable to aluminum because they don't bind as much. Aluminum rings can become really challenging to remove. If you need a 67mm to 77mm step ring, this one is a great one to purchase! ... show more

  • The filter is not working well
Size: 67-82mm
I installed the filter on Nikon 24-70 f.2.8. Before this I used filters from another manufacturer, there was no such problem. And an even bigger problem is that I cannot unscrew the filter from the lens. I do not recommend purchasing.

  • High quality step-up adapter
Size: 52-67mm
I use very nice filters that are either hardened aluminum alloys or brass because they are hard to strip, slip, or bind up on your lens. Aluminum step-up rings get stuck almost immediately and take some real delicate prying to get to unstick. This only gets worse when you are in the field and trying to get a shot off. These are high quality brass rings, that are milled finely, and have a slightly knurled finish to give you some grip when screwing on or off. The black finish hasn't marred yet, but I'm sure after some abuse I'll expose some brass. These come highly recommended for when you want to limit the number of filters in your kit but need to adapt to different size lenses. ... show more

  • Brass step up filter.
Size: 58-67mm
This brass step-up ring works well; it has a smooth matte finish and knurled sides for extra grip. It also comes in a plastic case with 3 microfiber cloths. In my case, I used this to attach a 67mm lens hood to a 58mm lens. The step-up ring was easy to install and remove without binding. The only con I noticed is that the box doesn’t match what’s inside, but otherwise it’s a solid well machined brass step-up ring. ... show more

  • Dedicated to one of my 67mm lenses
Size: 67-77mm
This kit is now exclusively used with one of my 67mm lenses. When I pack the lens, this kit goes with it. I don't have to fumble around a stack of holders in my camera bag, and these are easy to find on the shelf where I store them. I have observed no unusual aberrations in the quality of images, and I say this as something of a pixel-peeper. I think that the circular polarizer is a little too soft, but it does the job most of the time. The threading is smooth on all of the filters, but the CP requires a little sensitivity to grip it correctly. I can recommend this kit for most levels of aspiring photographers. ... show more
