The quality is what you would expect from k&k. Everything was packaged nicely and neatly. The instructions were very clear which made it easy to use. It worked very well at removing the sneeze droplets my dog managed to time perfectly while my lens was off… (I’m not even mad, I’m actually impressed… 😂). The cleaning tools are made of a soft cotton, so it is highly unlikely to do any damage to your sensor, and was able to clean it completely in 2 swipes. It came with enough cleaning swabs to last me a couple of years more than likely. Will definitely buy more when needed!

So for cleaning the sensor in a dslr or mirrorless camera, this kit will do the job, but you DO have to use it properly or you could have troubles! First off, wet cleaning a sensor is not something you want to do regularly. First try a bulb blower. If the stuff on the lens is just dust, a good soft sensor cleaning brush may deal with it, but don't use a brush on any oily things like a fingerprint or some other kind of oil droplets. If you have dust that nothing else will get off, that's when you use wet cleaning swabs like these. As usual, before you try cleaning you want to hold the camera with lens mount down and blow off the sensor with a bulb blower to remove any loose dust first. DO NOT use "canned air" for this, it's too powerful and may damage your camera. The main thing is not to use too much cleaning fluid, they recommend just one drop and waiting about 10 seconds for it to spread out on the swab before using. Then you just do one swipe, flip the swab over and do another, then do two swipes with the dry end. You want to use very light pressure when doing this, don't scrub back and forth! So far it has worked fine for cleaning my camera sensor, I just had a little stubborn dust that didn't want to come off any other way.

The only thing missing from this sensor cleaning kit, in my opinion, is a rocket blower. Other than that, this will save you tons on getting your sensor cleaned at the store. I good feature I like on the swabs is that they are double sided. I normally use two swabs when I clean my sensor but now, I only need one. If you're nervous about cleaning your own sensor, just youtube some How-To videos and it'll show you how to use a kit like that. It's worth it. To be honest, I didn't find a need to use the glove. Just makes your hands are clean and you're not cleaning your sensor in the middle of a dust storm and you should be fine.

Update: company has offer a full refund witch is awesome , I'm going to change the rating because after using the swabs and gloves I do like 78% of the kit . Plus I have used a few of their other products that I do like like their filters and tripods . the sensor is actually covered with a layer of glass so you are not really cleaning the sensor its self... anyway I did a test on some spare clean glass , the K&F fluid streaked and was gunky / foggy after it evaporated from just a drop on a q tip. I did the same with 91% alcohol and it evaporated really nicely with very limited streaking and was just cleaner all-around. Now I'm not suggesting you use 91% alcohol but there are better cleaner's out there that don't leave so much residue. The fluid in this kit was a little soapy looking too , purchased on 12-29-23

I've used sensor cleaners successfully in the past and know how to do a clean. I placed two drops of fluid on the tip of the swab and let it spread before using. When I did the two swipes I found that there was quite a bit of fluid remaining on the sensor. I let it dry and then tried to reclean, this time using only one drop with the same result. The fluid does not "wet" on the sensor (Sony A7IV) The sensor was unusable. I took my A7IV to a local camera store who used a different brand and it cleaned fine with zero visible defects. He mentioned to me that he had heard many complains about the K&F cleaning kits not wetting properly. So I paid twice - once for the kit and once for a camera store to undo the damage I did with the K&F kit.
