I am a petite adult who wears large-size girl's clothes. I have purchased 2 different colors of this dress (at 2 different times). The dresses are very comfortable. The waist is a little high, but that makes it more flattering in the tummy area. The dresses are also thicker than many of the other, women's dresses offered on Amazon, which is really nice, because you don't have to wear a slip with it. Update--I loved these dresses so much, I ordered another in 2021 or 2022 in exactly the same color as before (burgundy). This time, the dress was NOT cotton, but was either polyester or rayon, and much thinner. I returned the dress, I was so disappointed. I hope they have gone back to making them the way they were before, but if you receive a thin, slinky-material dress when you order, then you will understand why your perception of the dress does not match my previous description above. So 5 stars if it's cotton again, but 3 1/2 to 4 stars if it's not.

Love this for my 10 year old daughter, soft comfy and other than a seam in one of the pockets not being completely seen it seems well made. I love the length and sleeve length. It's not easy to find pretty long dresses with sleeves, it made the perfect Christmas dress! I am very happy with this dress!! The photo was taken quickly on a cloudy morning and doesn't show the best representation of the color which is a lovely cranberry/maroon.

I bought this dress for my granddaughter to wear during the holidays. She usually wears a 14-16 and this fit perfectly. The length for her was just right too. It was a reasonable thickness, a reasonable price and she was pleased.

This dress fits beautifully. It falls a little long, but slight heels fix that. I washed it on delicate, then hung to dry. It is perfect for a casual or dressy event, and looks amazing with a denim jacket.

This dress is a beautiful color and pattern. It is very soft and my daughter loves it. The dress is very long (my daughter wears little girl heels and it still drags a bit) and the sleeves are almost 3/4 length. It’s a good price for what you receive.

My daughter is a bit tall for her age. She’s 8, but normally wears a size 10 for waist, 12 for height. I got a size 12 and it was perfect! It hit right at the floor and is so beautiful. Color is exactly as pictured. Nice thick fabric, no need for a slip.

It was so soft and my daughter was excited to have Christmas dress that was comfortable. She is a small 7 year old and is in between size 6 and 7 clothes, but mostly fits into size 6. I ordered the size 6/7 and it fit great and has room to grow into it.
