I ordered this necklace for my graduation.Because it is going to fit perfectly with my outfit, neon/hot pink and gray. I figured the large pendant and its vibrance would be very visible against my Gray turtleneck. In which the silver chain would have also matched. Unfortunately, I made the rookie mistake of reading the Reviews, after I had already placed my order. Many people had mentioned how the stone didn't look as vibrant as the one that's shone in the image. Since I had already placed my order, And no other necklace of a similar color would be coming soon enough, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Unfortunately like many other reviews I was disappointed. Dependent is self is just as beautiful as I had imagined, however, the color is nowhere near close to what is shown in the picture. It's a bright, purple color that used to be identified as "scary purple". It's like a bright magenta. That leans more on the purple side. I added a picture of what the necklace is supposed to look like. Versus how it looks in regular light in the bright light, along with a little color code that shows what color the necklace?It's supposed to be versus what it actually looks like. And seriously, the chain is laughable. It's so ridiculously cheap, like the plasticky metal that's used to make low grade costume jewelry that should not be worn long at all, especially on bare skin, or exposed to moisture, like the ones that cost less than a dollar on shein or temu. I've seen a few reviews also say that it's left their necks green. I'm upset because I don't have a single thing in my wardrobe that matches this necklace, but the pendant itself is very pretty and it's too much of a hassle to return. ... show more
