I think overall that these are great boots. I haven't worn western boots for about 30 years and the last pair of Justin's I owned took 6 months to break in. I don't expect these to take nearly that long. I have worn them now for 4 days and they are getting better each time I wear them. They are a little snug though. For the first 5 or 6 hours they are fine, it's the last 2 or 3 hours that my feet are sore. But like I said they are getting better each day I wear them. I will update later. Update, They are broke in now and I have to say that these are comfortable boots. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Here is a tip to help break them in, wear two pairs of socks at first. The boots will feel a little snug but when you go back to just one pair of socks, the boots will feel great. ... show more

These boots fit well and look great but they misrepresented where they are manufactured. I bought these boots over a couple of others because the description said "Made in US" but when I got them (and after I wore them) I noticed the "Made in Mexico" tag in the boot. Very disappointing! Still, Mexico does a lot of leather goods so I'm going along with the program. I just think Amazon should correct their ad to reflect the correct information. The boots are a bit more "distressed" than what I gathered from the description, but I slathered them with Bick 4 & buffed them out with a horsehair brush & they look great. A major western wear retailer listed these boots at $294, but I got them on Cyber Monday sale from Amazon for $131, so the price was too good to pass up. Being Justin's, they fit like a glove & are very comfortable. New boot break-in is usually a less than delightful experience, but the leather on these is very supple, so even wearing them all day at work has not been a problem; I'm sure the Bick 4 treatment helped, but the leather on these boots is very comfortable & pliable. ... show more

This is my 4th pair of Justin boots, each have their own peculiarities. This boot looks great but is a little snug, hoping it will loosen up some given a little time. The other 3 pairs are similar, slightly rounded toe / cowboy heel, and the fit is great - the differences are in the leather. 1 boot is perfect -- 1 boot the leather upper is stiff -- and the 3rd boot is somewhere between those two. I am hard to fit as I am between a 13-14, the Justin round toe in a 13 seems to work and will come back to them in the future. ... show more
