Description

The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.

  • Fantastic boots!
These boots are great! For those reviewing these as too narrow they must have ogar feet. These boots fit as expected. I wear a 10.5 in normal boots but with pull on I find a 10 fits perfect. The quality is top notch. The only visual defect I found was a missed stitch, or rather the leather was a little longer on the left side, but it was a minor flaw. The leather is top quality and these boots are constructed well. The lip around the boot is wider then other boots such as ariat, which for me took a little getting use to. Now for the fit: When I first got these boots they had allot of slippage. This is to be expected with any boot, but working through the day it was too much for my feet. I have average feet, not narrow but not wide. So I figured until they tighten up and conform to my feet they would be hell working in. So I decided to put some Ariat insoles in them. And this made ALL the difference. It tightened up that looseness, and created an absolute perfect fit! And the boots are forming to my feet amazingly. My heel clicks down every time I put them on, and these are the most comfortable boots I own. And I know they will only get better with age and wear. If you are looking for a good reliable quality boot, I highly suggest these! ... show more

  • Awesome Boots!
Size: 13 Color: Brown
These boots are outstanding! I ordered 3 pairs of Justin boots, 2 of which were not made in the USA boots. The difference in these boots and the others is literally night and day...quality, stitching, leather, sole, attention to detail all are incredible. These boots are extremely comfortable and are by far my favorite boots of the 3 pairs I ordered. I found them to fit perfectly, I am a 13D and ordered that size and have no issues. They were actually a little snug as far as the width but within one day of wearing them they broke in perfectly. I've worn all three boots and these were the only ones I got compliments on. People said they looked expensive and looked like good quality boots. Well worth the money!! ... show more

  • Peach Color
Size: 13 Wide Color: Beige Chievo Cowhide
They are lighter and more of a peach color than what the pictures show. Quality is fine and they are comfortable, they just have an off look to them. I've put some conditioner on the which darkened them a little but still a less desirable look than what I wanted.

  • Attractive, well built and classic.
Size: 8 Color: Brown
Justin makes a great boot. This has great leather top and bottom. I love leather souled boots. These square toes are very comfortable and don’t squish your feet with ample room in toe area

  • Justin boots deliver again!!!
Size: 10.5 Color: Distressed Cognac
First thing, the boot color in the picture is not what you’ll get. At first I was a little disappointed. But after putting them on with a nice pair of jeans....I was sold on the color! To me the color you actually receive is much more rich and classy. With a slight aging. I love em and if you’re looking for a much lighter color boot then these are the boot. I would call the color more of a cappuccino color with some slightly darker aged spots. Perfectly done! One other thing. I wear an 11 in everything. But reviewers had said get a Half size down. So I did and I’m glad I did. ... show more

  • Super comfortable after being broken in
Size: 10 Color: Copper Rough Rider/Candy Blue
So I've had these boots a little over a year now and I love them. They are really comfortable and after wearing them most of the year it's just about time to get the heals redone. I have had to polish/oil them up from time to time but that's to be expected from daily ish worn boots. I got the ones with the rubber souls and they have decent grip to them in all matter of conditions. Definitely will be getting another pair if and when I wear these out completely ... show more

  • Keeping because of sale price.
Size: 13 Color: Rough Rider Copper/Soft Topaz
This is my first pair of Justin boots, but my 6th pair of cowboy boots so I'm comparing them to ariats and Double H boots. The craftsmanship looks good, the colors are just as described and the leather sole is a nice bottom. The only grip I have is the confront on the insole. It's very basic, flat and hard. Compared to the other brands this is subpar. They are also somewhat large on the arch of my foot where other brands fit snug but not tight. I'm planning on buying a insole insert hoping to solve the above issues. One design point I'm not a fan of is the square toe. All my boots are square toe but these have a very large (wide) square toe. I'm getting used to it but it's something to think about when purchasing it. If I didn't get these on sale for under $100 I would have returned and gotten another pair or ariats. Another note: my SO has a pair of women's boots (Justin's as well) and the comfort is similar to what I'm experiencing. ... show more
