I buy this top in multiple colors and sizes and love all of them. For reference, I’m 5’5” and my weight is around 175 but I’m muscular and active. I order this top in a 2x for everyday wear around town, 3x for lounging slob style in sweats, and 4x for a huge oversized nightshirt. I mentioned the muscular bit because I have large popeye arms and I’m not imagining it, the armholes on these tops have definitely gotten smaller over the years, and the sleeves seem shorter somehow. Also, the sleeve hems tend to turn up after washing and that’s annoying. I’ve bought these Just My Size tops for over a decade back when I was 100 pounds heavier and they were definitely made of thicker cotton back then. Like everything else, quality is just meh. But for the price what do you expect? I still love them because they are free of that awful polyester. And yes, they do shrink, but have a loose fit overall. Order a size up if you don’t want tight fitting arms and your gut pooching out.

I love that the fabric is light and cool...8-) I was hoping to use it at work and expected it to be a 2 pk of white and tan but I only received the white one. I LOVE that the V neck is not low due to the fact I do a lot of bending at work. I am a modest woman with a BIG behind....The shirt fits almost as expected it is a bit smaller than I had anticipated BUT it still accommodates my hips perfectly. I have been losing some weight and I actually feel a little sexy having a bit snugger fit without it being tight to my body. I am thinking that as long as I dry it on fluff with my jeans I will not loose the exact size it is now....At least I HOPE not...I get hot at work being in a deli and I know this shirt will be perfect for me at work as long and it holds up to the wash cycle...:-) I am concerned about ordering a size larger because I don't want the V neck to hit any lower on my chest considering the bending I do at work...;-\ I go through a bunch of shirts often due to stains. For the price and the fit this shirt is worth purchasing again in other colors several times. I dislike shopping at Wal-Fart for t-shirts everyone in my area is wearing...So I opted to check out Amazon and I am very glad I did at this point...;-) As soon as I wash it and give it a fluff I will update this review on the fit...8-) This is my edit to my original review....I have found I can dry it with my regular clothes...It does shrink up a bit BUT If I carefully take the bottom sides of the shirt and stretch it lightly against a door jam it is an absolutely PERFECT fit again around my hips and bottom...8-) I am enjoying the way it feels AND the way it makes me feel when I am wearing it...I have a few more in my shopping cart for purchase....I will be getting the same size it is working for me perfectly!!! 8-)

Fit as expected, back length 29” as advertised, soft, perfect weight for layering or warm days. Update: disappointed that it shrank one inch in length to 28” after being laundered and dried in low heat. That changes it from a 5 to a 4. Update: just received two more of these. Very disappointed-length advertised as 29"- these are both 28" before laundry. Another star loss, it's a 3.

I love these t-shirts and are the only ones I wear as my night shirts or at home. They are a little short for me to be able to wear it outside with leggings. I love the V-neck and the material of the t-shirt. It is thin but not too thin...perfect for summer or layering in the winter. They are so soft and wash well. They do have a little stretch to them too but I order oversized ones for myself since I wear them around home mostly.

The Perfect Basic Tee

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love this Neck Tee. It is super comfortable and it goes with everything. The fit is true to size and it does not feel too fight in any of the spots. The fabric itself is super comfortable and washes well with no shrinking or color fading (yet). A great staple to have and i would totally recommend for anyone needing a new - simple basic tee.
