It's hard to know what size to order in online. Each manufacturer seems to have their own idea of what each size actually is. I typically wear XL or XXL depending on who made it. This one, however, seems to be more like a 2XL, which is not the same as XXL. 2XL is a half size bigger than XXL. At least it's supposed to be. This shirt, although very nicely crafted and adorably cute, is quite large for an XXL. It's almost 3 XL. My teenage sons' MEN's size 3XL fit me better than this one does. I will order again, probably in the smaller size. But, I'm kind of thinking I have to go down to an L, instead. Update: I bought 1X and it's still too big. I've gained 20 lbs in the last 6 months so I know it's not just me. This run, I'd say TWO SIZES larger than true. So whatever size you wear, go down 2 sizes. ... show more

    • Truthfully, a pretty good scrub top!
I purchased this scrub top to express my patriotism around the holidays. The mostly negative reviews for the product were concerning, but I took a gamble, finding no alternatives online or in stores. The material is a stiff cotton/poly blend, and the fit is not tapered, it's kind of straight/boxy. I am 5'1" and curvy/muscular, & purchased an XL based on the reviews. The majority of scrub TOPS manufactured for women do not come in petite, meaning they fall at the hip well-before the designer intended, thus most short, and/or curvy people (like me) usually need to purchase larger sizes to accommodate how it falls on the hips. I knew this scrub would be no exception, so fully expected it to be big in the shoulders(and it is), but being short, it fit fine over the hips. I can taper it myself when I have time. I had no concerns with the fabric fading as "Old Glory" sometimes is faded, but washed in cold and took care not to fry it in the dryer, so no problem there. So, it's not the most flattering scrub top, and it does not stretch and bend with me as I work like the more modern materials do, but I personally felt that I should be buying a US Flag scrub top to focus on and honor the US (troops, etc.), not to focus on myself, and I felt that one or two days a year of being in a less-comfortable scrub top was not a comparable sacrifice. My rating of "4" was for the stiff fabric and no "female" taper. Add this and it's a five. Bottom line, the scrub top is what it is, and I was satisfied! ... show more
