It was also much longer on her (like a long robe) than on the model. I guess the model must have been 5'8". In any case, she honestly loved the look and the warmth. The color was a rich burgundy - very nice. I tried it on at 5' 6" and 135 lbs. - it fit! She is much smaller, but the truth about robes, is...just pull it tighter. I bought the cream one, and you cannot get away with washing it with anything that’s not white. Usually, i mix my loads and wash on cold, and occasionally bleach my whites alone. This robe is so nice! It is warm, soft and light weight. Love the light lavendar color too. The only drawback for me is the sleeve length. The sleeves are quite long, and I have to roll the cuffs up when I'm putting my hands in water or the ends of the sleeves get wet. But for keeping warm on chilly mornings or while relaxing to read or watch tv, it's perfect. Haven't washed it yet, so can't comment on that. But so far, I'm happy. ... show more
