Ordered this nightie for my wife. She is 300lbs, 5'6" and thought the 3x would be okay. Well, it was pretty tight to put on, but she liked the styling and length, just below the knee, so kept it. She washed in cold and air dried it and found it had not shrunk. So, she wore it and the next morning it had stretched out to a perfect size. She said she was disappointed that the black had sort of washed out (she has the black one with owls on it), and it felt pretty cheap. But, she wore it all day and says she wants to order more just to wear around the house. The lightweight material is perfect for this hot summer weather. I like the price and the variety of designs to choose from. UPDATE: JUNE 2021 - These nighties are still in use and still fitting fine. Yes, they have faded, esp. the ones with the dark backgrounds. My wife decided she needed two more since there are newer designs. The tie dye and red buffalo prints are her new choices. ... show more

    • Okay Sleep Shirt, Disappointing Fabric
My expectations weren't high because of the price, but I hoped the sleep shirts would be comfortable and appropriate for a multi-generational household. The prints were as pictured, colorful and "happy" which is one of the things I was shooting for. The shirt has a full fit (for the 3X) and didn't seem to shrink much in the dryer. The armholes are large enough to not cut into you while sleeping. The neckline is a bit higher than is comfortable for me, requiring me to pull the gown down so it doesn't choke me. The fabric is a thin cotton, not a cotton knit which can be softer. When held to the light, you can see thru the fabric. Even though it's been washed & rinsed with fabric softener, it is NOT soft. The inside is a bit scratchy. Maybe it will soften up with more washes. It wasn't as cool as a brushed cotton or knit, but it will be able to worn more than just the summer season. Overall, the shirt is acceptable, but higher quality fabric would make it much more comfortable and not see through, which would be worth a little more cost to me. Kill keep the two I got because of the colorful print, but won't buy more due to lack of comfort. ... show more

I am always apprehensive ordering clothes here, it seems that these non-USA sizes are more and more prevelant. I am a size 16/18 and I ordered a size up, since this was jammies. I love this nightshirt! It's comfy, doesn't bind at the arms, is roomy. I'm not hot at night (I am 55 yrs old so it's that time for me). I am going to buy another one soon, maybe one a bit shorter for summer. Would I buy this again?? YES!!! ... show more

Nice and large. I took a chance, because I’m a large person (size 30/32) and from the reviews I held my faith and hopes. It fits!!!! I got the 3X and it is still roomy, which is perfect. I absolutely love the tie dye and I’m so glad that I not only took the chance, but that it works for me!!!!!

I usually wear XL but based on other reviews ordered a 1X. I have washed it a number of times and it is still a little big. But the main complaint I have is that it is the worst feeling 100% cotton I have ever felt. Not soft at all. Scratchy. I started to return it right out of the package because of how it felt but thought washing might make a difference. It didnt. So if you don’t like the feel out of the package, send it back. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and I figured I should order up as people mentioned it was small. I ordered a 2X and I am swimming. I am 5’7” and about 230. I’m okay I with it being big as I’m only wearing around the house but family members have teased me about my tent. It hits below my knees. It isn’t super soft but it is 100% cotton and felt way better after a good wash with fabric softener. The dark purple part of the tie-dye is a little more brown and dark than bright but I’m sure it’s hard to get constant color. ... show more

I will be returning this nightgown because of its sizing and style. First off, the positives. The fabric is quite light, but for the summer, that is a good thing for me. The style has less fullness to it than I would have preferred, but that would have been okay with me. However, I found it to run very small. I normally buy an XL in nightgowns as I like them to be loose. Some comments were that it runs small (although some did not have that experience), so I ordered a 2XL hoping it would be loose. Instead, it is quite long on me (I am short), and it fits fairly snugly all the way up and down. If it fit as I had hoped, I would have been pleased with it. With the different opinions as to how the sizing runs, I wonder if quality control in sizing varies from color/pattern, etc. I ordered Starry Moon. ... show more

I ordered this because so many of my nightshirts have shrunk and rise up during the night making them uncomfortable on my hip replacement. I saw the price and said, “What the heck!” I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and loved the length; however, I was afraid that the brilliant color would run when I washed it in with other clothes . So I threw it in a regular warm wash with an old white towel. No running and no significant shrinking in the dryer! It is soft, comfort, and the length allows it to stay down below my hips all night.
