    • True PLUS SIZED Miracle for Disguising/Hiding Thick Upper Arms
Technically, for me I'd give it 4.5 stars-- but there was no way I was going to dock it a star just because of some anatomical quirks specific to me. First of all--- this is a TRUE plus sized shrug. That alone is a near miracle. The lace is soft, with only a tiny hint of rasp---which will probably fade through multiple washings. It does a wonderful job hiding a good portion of my upper arms, and that part of my body is disproportionately large. The hem on the sleeves was a little snug on them, but that's to be expected because my upper arms are more of a 4-5X than 3X. It has a bit of stretch, so it's not uncomfortable. The only part I don't like that much is the way it drapes over my bust: I'm a 38K, and my massive bust line means that instead of falling over the front of my body, the bolero winds up more or less sliding back until it's tucked beneath my armpits--- covering my shoulders, upper arms, and some of my side boob-age if I'm wearing something strapless, but doing nothing to minimize the view of my bust from the front--- it frames it nicely though. If you're busty (D+ cups), and you want something to minimize the ladies and not your arms, there are probably better garments out there. If you're plus sized, want to disguise your upper arms, and/or add something to cover your shoulders, for the price point you can't go wrong. I'm planning to get another one in white. ... show more

Shrug arrived quickly and it looks just like the picture. I got the dark purple and it is, in fact, dark purple. I sized up 2 sizes after reading reviews and the product information. I wear a 42D and my measurement around the bust is 47". I usually wear any where from a L - 1X in tops. I ordered the 3X and while it is wearable, it is a little big which makes the sleeves a little fluffier. Cute for a couple washes. A couple is being generous, because after one wash it looks like it was worn 10x. I wore it without washing first, and glad for it. I hand washed it, and laid it flat to dry, but it lost its appeal, somewhat. It is going in the next yard sale. It served its purpose well for the event I attended, and is all that matters. I rely on reviews before making a purchase, and hope this is helpful. Brand new it complemented my "Tea" attire, perfectly, but to wear it now would dress up tattered jeans, tank top, and combat boots, maybe. ... show more

It was recommended to buy a size larger so I did and it fits beautifully. I wear a large and purchased an extra large . Honestly I have never seen something as beautiful as this little over wrap sweater is. The white color that I chose is pure white the material is so incredibly soft and stretchy if you pull it it's just awesome I feel like a princess in it and I look like one too. I love the way the neckline crosses the back of my neck and is cut to curve in on my chest area with the lace sticking up "see in the picture". You will never find anything like this in any store and that my friends is why I love Amazon so much!! ... show more
