These aren't high quality jump ropes but hopefully the price point clued you into that. If I were getting jump ropes for my kids, I'd opt for ropes with silicone beads on it, not these. But these are fine as a classroom prize, or goodie bags at a party. The handles are small and feel cheap. But the way they've been designed makes them easy to adjust their length for shorter children. The plastic "rope" doesn't want to go straight it wants to keep the kinks from shipping or from whatever position your child left it in last. A set of 4 jump ropes for $8.99, that's pretty affordable, and with that price point comes something that's more of a toy than a serious jump rope for athletes. It's a great introductory jump rope to kids who are learning. They are lightweight, and brightly colored which is important to kiddos. I got these because my children were fighting over the one jump rope we have. They don’t even use them for jump rope just everything else. Pretending to fish, making the cats chase them, throwing them at each other… They’re perfect for that I tried it out. Works fine. Lightweight plastic that’s not bungee but slight stretch. Somehow my children are getting them extremely tangled but that could be on them. They work everyone is happy temporarily ... show more
