Color: Black - Duvet Cover Set Size: Full/Queen
The media could not be loaded. This is a very classy looking bedroom duvet cover, with two pillow shams. The texture is so different from anything I have had or seen- with this silky smooth feel on the edges and this fresh ribbed look in the middle (of the duvet cover and shams). While it appears a little silvery in my video (and as I remark about that several times too in the video), it is black IRL. But if you like to have videos in your bedroom, whether you do some kind of online work or a pad cast where things may appear behind you- I think it appears very nicely (however depending on how much of the bed gets in your video or photos, the cover may steal the show ;). However, when the light is on it- it does get this shiny silvery look on video. All in all though, anyone who likes a fresh classy look in a bedroom is gonna love this cover. In my twenties I remember visiting some bachelor pads and how most guys decorated in black- and this duvet cover had me thinking- I wonder if a bed cover like this would have lent more to the "bachelor design". I must admit that I haven't dated in decades though (so I no longer know what a bachelor pad looks like), but I think a duvet cover like this, in one of those bachelor pads- would have elevated it a bit. Because while it is a black colored set, the design of the set, I think- gives the cover a bigger appeal and a wider range of use. Also, in my video I talk about how this duvet cover is a little different than others my husband and I have had. We have had ones that have had zippers along the entirety of one side and, you unzip the whole side and put your comforter in. This has always had to be done by two people. While that was my design of preference (having a zipper run along one side of the duvet to put a comforter in), when we got this one and found there was about an opening about a foot wide (just a guesstimate though) made to be the place where you put in your comforter- while I thought it would be harder my husband pointed out that we always, with a zippered duvet, had to put the comforter in together- as he would hold up the duvet on a chair and I would slip the comforter in while holding on to the top of the comforter and duvet. Plus, zipping it was always a task. While putting a comforter in through an opening a foot wide will take a little time- one person can easily do it- unlike the two man job other duvet covers have always been. So this duvet cover may be preferable to others who are going to be putting the comforter in the duvet cover without the help of another person. This duvet lent a classy, fresh and even comforting look to our new room- and I never thought black could do that- but it was definitely the design on the duvet that makes this piece so appealing and good looking! ... show more

Received this as a gift for Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful, but shredded at the seams within 5 months. The fabric is so thin, I don’t believe there is any way to sew it back up once shredded. Don’t purchase this for a main bedroom…maybe for a guest room that is rarely used.

Beautiful duvet set. The material is very silky and slippery on the top, under it is a nice soft cotton type material (photo showing the underside included). I like the ruching stripes, gives it a nice elegant look. I have a very big and fluffy comforter, wasn't sure it would fit but it worked out great, it does look very fluffy still and fit in the cover without issues. The pillow shams fit over my standard size pillows without issue and have the middle slit on the back which I prefer. Really a nice set, this is on a queen bed, again my comforter is very fluffy so it doesn't hang on the edges nice and smooth but that's okay! It would need to be steamed or ironed under a towel to get the fold wrinkles out. Beautiful deep black color. The buttons that hold it closed on the one edge fold under the fabric so that is a nice touch as well. ... show more
