These towels bars are very nicely made, appear modern in their design, but the surface area where it attaches to the wall is very small. So you're left with just a tiny area of wall holding strength and potentially a large heavy damp towel trying to pull it off. I could not get it onto a wall stud in my desired location so used some very good metal screw in wall plugs (the small plastic ones were essentially useless). Even with a very strong installation, the small area that attaches to the wall would begin to wobble and eventually fail. This meant finding studs in the wall and relocating the bar to an undesired location but an area where it could screw into the stud directly.
