1-Year Update: It failed. The gauge was about 20 PSI low, and it leaked glycerin into the air hoses. Use 12V power compressors to air up tires for off-roading. No fluid-filled gauges will rapidly vibrate the needle constantly back and forth around 10 or more PSI, making it difficult to get an accurate reading when the compressor is running. This glycerin-filled gauge was steady and accurate. -- STEADY NEEDLE: The needle was rock steady when pushing air from a 12V air compressor. An excellent result. See our attached video. -- PERFECT PSI SCALE: The max PSI is 60, which creates a perfect scale for me for filling tires to 35-40 PSI. Then, the needle is near the top dead center, and the wide-scale provides great resolution with wide-scale marks for every 1 PSI. So it's great for making accurate measurements. -- ACCURATE: I compared the PSI ready to 2 other known good gauges, and the PSI (near 36 PSI) was perfect! -- PERFECT ADAPTER THREAD SIZE: The 1/4" NPT connector fit perfectly in my adapters and, using Teflon tape, had no air leaks. -- BRASS FITTINGS: The NPT connect is bright brass. -- WORKS IN HORIZONTAL ORIENTATION: I have the gauge oriented horizontally, and the fluid does not fill the face, leaving about 20% air space, but this does not affect the needle stability or accuracy.. -- GREAT VALUE: I think this is a great value for how well it works.

nice replacement gauge

The original pressure gauge on my pool filter had a plastic housing, and recently sprung a leak from a small crack. This was a perfect replacement for it. the body construction is solid, and the glycerin filling did great at dampening the needle movement when the pump turns on and off. numbers on the dial are nice sized and easy to read.

This is a heavy, well made pressure gauge that I ordered for our pool pump. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the pump so we couldn't test it out but we are keeping it on hand as I am sure it will come in handy one of these days. The printing is clear and easy to read and it feels very high quality. I would recommend it without hesitation if you are in the market for a new pressure gauge.

Perfect for my custom pool pressure checking feature

I built a pool pressure fixture to chase down a pool leak I had, and this was perfect for the purpose. I used it consistently up to 40 psi and the gauge mirrored pretty closely to another digital gauge I was using further downstream. It's a solid gauge, it's very sturdy, and it has held up pretty well to what has been quite a bit of use over the last few weeks. It's even been used underwater and it has held up very well 5 stars.

Perfect for my automatic inflator

I wanted a low presssure gauge for a 35 psi cut off. Having one that goes 0-60 makes it easier to dial in a more precise lower pressure. I paired this with a 1/4 npt regulator. And a short leader hose on the output. The dial is easy to read and the pressure matches my other gauges. This was perfect for my application and exactly what I needed.
