The media could not be loaded. I've had many electric scooters before but this is one impressive scooter, which is certainly not for kids. This electric scooter was designed for adults and was specifically made for those who commute to the city for work. Many commuters are now bringing electric scooters to the city because they don't want to take the subway or bus. Have a fast electric scooter like this enables them to travel between train station and work or home quickly without having to wait for bus, taxi or subway. FIRST IMPRESSION: It came in a sturdy box that was all covered and wrapped with plastic tape. I believe this was done to prevent any water from entering during transportation. The packaging inside the box was impressive with fitted foam for extra protection. I was happy to see that a phone mount and bag were also included in the box. The scooter did not need any assembly other than mounting and securing the LCD screen with the throttle on the right handle. The both handles came folded and I was able to unfold and twist them into the handle bar. It's nice that the handles can be folded as well, which will take much less space in the car or during storage in the garage. The height of the handle bar can be also adjusted very easily. PERFORMANCE & SPEC: This electric scooter is equipped with 500W brushless motor that can top at 31MPH and up to 56 miles range in full charge! I was able to lift the wheel and see the wheel spin in the air at 38MPH. This is pretty darn fast and can be scary at times but you can choose from 3 speed modes, which will have different top max speed. 265lbs max load capacity will accommodate most adults with a backpack when using this for commute to/from work! 10" off-road air tires combined with front and rear suspensions allow super smooth and fast ride in any road condition. DESIGN & FEATURE: Did I mention that this is perfect for commuter? Well, that's because it has many safety features for commutes in mind such as 1) taillight and side lights that lights up when front or rear break is applied, and 2) turn signal warning that blinks the side light when turned on for left or right turn! I also appreciate the bright headlight as well as electric horn, which are all essential for safety when riding this on a busy street or at night. It's also neat that there's hidden USB port on the back of LCD screen so you can charge your phone if needed but my favorite part of this electric scooter is that this scooter has one of the easiest and quickest folding and unfolding mechanism. This is also essential for commuters since you will need to fold it to carry it up the stairs or to the train then quickly unfold to start riding. CONCLUSION: Easily 5 out of 5 stars. One of the finest electric scooters I've seen so far with commuters in mind. This is not a toy but rather a transportation device for adults. So when this scooter arrived it was awesome super cool design, massive and overall looks like a beast, however when given the instructions it's not useful whatsoever doesn't help assemble the scooter and pretty much have to guest what to do, after finishing building the scooter up to be stable driving it is amazing way better than all the other scooters I have driven but within 30 minutes of driving it I hit a small pothole without even seeing it and the rear inner tube inside my tire basically exploded, I wasn't going that fast and for it to just deflate like that is pretty infuriating, taking it apart to replace the inner tire is an absolute nightmare! Getting the tire off of it is impossible and I had no choice but to take it to a repair shop for them to get the inner tube out, after that they replace the tube with the backup one and after paying 50 dollars for the manuel labor because oh my it took 2 hours long to get the thing off. So once I got back home after spending all that time trying to replace a simple tire I drove down the street to see if it's really fixed and lord and behold the backup tire they provided blew up within a minute of driving 5 mph a and on a smooth street. So not gonna lie the scooter has potential but of course the materials is so cheap you might as well buy a scooter from a digger company. Very disappointing and infuriating after spending 700 bucks on this thing! Also update on this scooter the back tire fell off again so at this point I'm done this scooter is the worst for your money, flimsy product flimsy material, the only good thing it had going for it is the speed and that's it everything else is terrible please for the love of everything buy another product then this because this scooter is terrible ... show more

    • Fast! Careful, DEFECT with stem LOCK on mine.

The media could not be loaded. I REALLY liked this scooter, shame I received a bad unit or spotted a defect that affects them all. The scooter feels solid, accelerates quickly, and does 30 mph with no problem. Assembly is a snap. The vertical assembly needs to be slammed forward, with intention, so the stem locks in place. If loose, and collapses, need I say more ... see positive reviews. BUT, here's the issue I had: The vertical stem (which has the brakes and throttle, etc. at the top) is comprised of two parts, upper and lower extension poles. The upper stem is raised to provide adjustment for ideal riding height. I tightened everything up and went over all screws to be sure the scooter was solid. The CLAMP that tightens upper and lower VERTICAL tubes DOES NOT TIGHTEN COMPLETELY TO BE SAFE. On my first ride, in minutes, as I leaned on the handle grips, the upper stem SLID DOWN AND INTO THE LOWER tube, and I wiped out. Fortunately only scraped my knee. Again, there IS a CLAMP to (I'm guessing) keep the upper and lower parts locked in place so NO SLIDING can occur. But mine did. I found the Allen wrench on the clamp and found d I could tighten it a good deal, and when it wouldn't turn by hand I used pliers to tighten it all the way. It was then the top stem felt locked in place and didn't collapse down when I leaned on the handlebars. I've no idea whether I received a faulty unit, or there's an issue with the Joyner design. I've returned mine without a hitch (nice work Amazon) and Seller was good to work with as well. ... show more
