  • Does the job boosting my low-output pickup
Style: Classic,Boost Color: Yellow
I bought these because I have a low-output gold-foil pickup that I love installed in my acoustic. It sounds fantastic, but unless the amp I was using was a real powerhouse, it was difficult to cut through. The GOOD: For a very reasonable cost, this pedal boosts the volume, but it doesn't seem to add much (if anything) noise-wise. I've used it with both a good quality AC adapter and 9v batteries- same. Controls are simple and intuitive; one simple gain knob and a foot switch to turn it on and off. AND, although it provides a generous boost (up to 35db according to manufacturer), it doesn't seem to burn through batteries. When it's off, it adds nothing I can hear to the signal, it's just a clean bypass. The BAD: I really can't find any OTHER THAN the fact that you need a screwdriver to change the battery. This would be a real drag if the battery died onstage. If you are using an AC adapter, not an issue at all. BOTTOM LINE: Although battery changes are harder than they should be, for basically no money, this pedal gives a good boost with little or no noise. And when it's off, it is dead silent, allowing the un-boosted signal to pass right through. Can't ask for much more than that. ... show more

  • Love this simple inexpensive Joyo Chorus
Style: Circuit-Chorus Color: Blue-white
I have had other Joyo pedals before. I was just looking for a simple pedal for a very subtle chorus effect --- and this one has it! I keep the 2 knobs at 9 o'clock. Perfect. You barely know the effect is there. I love this pedal and Joyo's line of products.

  • It’s really Sweet !
Style: Low-Gain,Overdrive Color: Orange-red
This OD has plenty of gain on tap and sounds transparent. It’s more grainy than an ODR1 and responds so well to dynamics. It rocks with a tele and is totally worth it.

  • Better for guitar than digital
Style: Digitial Delay Color: Green-Black
Smoother and softer and not as harsh as a digital delay, works best on power adapter. Used it for three gigs so far and do like it. Good price point.

  • Love this pedal
Style: Classic,Boost Color: Yellow
Just boosts the volume, no change in tone. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for a weak passive pick up on my acoustic instrument. I like that you can also power it with a battery

  • A boost pedal for the working class musician.
Style: Classic,Boost Color: Yellow
This is a good basic boost pedal. I realized that I can use some of my overdrive pedals as a boost pedal. Price is right as well. If you don't care about others knowing you have JOYO on your pedal board then buy it.

  • Great budget chorus pedal
Style: Circuit-Chorus Color: Blue-white
The switch feels cheap but the pedal sounds really good. I rate the sound 5 stars the switch works but not sure how durable it is.
