I thought the case for this would be tin as well, but it is cardboard. I see it being the first thing broken. One of the straps for the tray on the inside of the lid was broken, and with the back to the lid being glued on and the straps attached through holes behind the backing, I just used superglue to get the strap back in place. The set itself is quite small. But for a 3yr old I think she won't care much. Tin seems sturdy though. Hopefully paint holds up well. ... show more
