In theory these were great. I bought them as an extra recess reward for students and by the end of first recess they were already broken; the end popped off and was not able to go back on. We glued it and it was “okay”, to limp through as an extra incentive until the end of the school year. It was fun for the kids and was a good size for elementary aged kiddos.

8 year old daughter loves this thing! Great exercise. And I think the repetitive nature of the movement is soothing to her. My only complaint is that it can be used as a weapon by a child annoyed with her little brother! And when I got too close to her, I got whacked very painfully in the ankle! So dangerous weighty cudgel-like aside, it’s perfect. And the lights look so cool at night!

I bought this for my 4 year old and she’s having some difficulty learning to use it. The big surprise was how quickly it came back to me when I attempted to show her how. I’m nearly 300 pounds and 38 years old. I was skipping away on this like I was 7 and competing in the school playground all-star championship. Nevermind that I was actually fighting for my life because I knew that if I stopped I’d knock out an ankle… Anywho….it’s a lot of fun and great for all sorts of reasons, not the least of which is getting kids off the couch. It rolls smoothly and just looks really cool when spinning. Excellent purchase.
