So far so good. The quality of the paint is good alittle thick, so I add a drop of water to help spread the paint. The only concern I have, is one of the colors may not be enough. Luckily I have acrylic paint that I can substitute. This is my third paint by numbers project. The first two were from a different brand and were not the quality of this one. Really enjoyed this paint by number kit. There are no instructions; you just paint the spaces with the corresponding numbers on the paint pots provided. Included in the kit are 3 paint brushes, numbered paint pots, hardware for hanging (after you've mounted it to a frame I believe. Frame not included though I wish it were), the canvas, and a paper version of the canvas for your reference. That last one came in handy when I decided to add my own flair to this with complimentary/opposite colors. There is PLENTY of paint to complete this with quite a lot of extra. That is good because I found I needed to really build up the layers or use a thick base coat to cover up the printed numbers and lines. While I did use the paint brushes included and feel they are adequate enough, I also used some of my own detailing brushes for the really small/narrow spaces. All in all this was super fun to do over the course of a week and half while I listened to my podcasts and painted. ... show more

It is going to take me quite awhile to paint this, and it will be an enjoyable task as painting has become a hobby of mine thanks to kits like this. This design is very detailed and has a lot of tiny spaces, which will make for a beautiful painting when it is finally finished. The bristles on the brushes are really nice, although the handles are plastic. The paint itself is also very good for a paint by numbers kit and the colors are beautiful. My one complaint is that the canvas came folded, which left creases that I am still trying to fully smooth out. If I stretch the canvas over a wooden frame it would fix the problem, so this is not a big issue for me. However, if the canvas were rolled up for shipping, that would allow customers to get started with painting more quickly and easily.
