Batteries lasted for the entire month of October. Skeleton and electronics took the punishment of rain, cold, hot, and wind without any issues. One area for improvement would be the tiny screws for the battery housing on skull head. Very difficult to screw in and unscrew. Screw head strips out after about 2-3 in and outs. Having to find replacement screws to continue use of product.

Good quality, large 6’9” skeleton with and some articulation that is a bit clunky but functional. Some joints hold in place better than others after tightening with provided screwdriver. For example, using wire to hold arm and hand in a waving position, otherwise gravity pulls it down after a short time. And it seems to be holding up well in Florida weather if only after a few weeks. For the price, pretty decent decoration.

Large skeleton and is 6'.9" height like the description. but the hips are only 16.5" and skull size width is 7", so tall but not big width. There are no directions on how to rotate the hips, so probably easy to break the joint. It came with the legs the same direction as the spine, so the hips needed to be rotated to get the body part on the spine. We were not sure how to rotate without breaking hip joints. Looks like an area you do not want to keep messing with or move again, to store away and get back out again. We tried unscrewing on certain areas, but nothing made the joints looser. very frustrating when you think you are going to snap the cheap plastic. not worth the $99. The feet, elbow, knee and shoulders can be moved better with screws that can be loosened. Also beware that some reviewers are putting up videos that are not even for this product. This skeleton does not make noise like some videos suggest. It comes with string out of the skull so you can hang, but no supports for torso or stakes for the feet so if you want it to stand, you will need to get creative on how to support it so it stays up right. Not sure if keeping it yet. Will need to keep shopping around. The battery lid needs 4 screws removed to access the batteries so not a smart design like some dec's where it is one battery. And if they strip easy like some reviewers are saying, then you might end up with a lid that won't come off or stay on eventually. Maybe a duct tape solution at some point.

I love that the joints are positionable. Just use zip ties and some small twigs to hold the arms in position desired. Broke the extra fingers off to achieve the hand signal I wanted. Single finger salute to the neighborhood.

Very tall, not to heavy, durable the first fall of sitting on a bale of hay through rain and wind. Was easy to put together, 8 year old son put it together. Was fun to have next to our front door for the trick or treating kids.
