Good beach kite
These kites are nicely made and easy to assemble. They are durable enough to withstand a few crashes. Like any kite of this style, they fly best in a constant wind like at the beach.

Bold colors. Easy assembly.
Easy to assemble while at the beach. Worked great at the beach (by teenagers and adults). Great price for 3 kites. Very pretty with the bold colors.

Fly well and reasonable quality for the price
The kites were easy to fly, and they flew very well! Putting them together can be a bit fiddly, and on the first one I assembled, one of the rods splintered a bit while trying to get it into its receptacle. Removing one star for that, since that one cannot be easily disassembled/reassembled because of that happening. Having said that, for the price I think it is a good deal/product and would recommend.

Doesn't fly.
Tried these out at the sand dunes at Outer Banks - plenty of wind, but not too much, and a huge open space. The build quality is good, but these kites absolutely do not fly. Tried and tried for an hour, and all they do is weave back and forth before nose diving into the ground...every single time. I don't recommend unless you like being frustrated.

Kites for kids
The kites work well for one time use. I didn't expect to get an expert kite, but for an afternoon, they flew fine. The stitching started to come apart. I couldn't use the kites again.
