I should start by saying if you are annoyed by beeping, do not tell kids there are batteries involved. I regret adding them because my toddler son has been "scanning" everything for hours. He would not have known if I hadn't put them in without thinking. That said it is a super cute set. Assembly was a breeze; the instructions were clear and concise. I appreciated how easy it was to put together, ensuring that my niece could dive into her imaginative play without any delays. The sturdy construction of the cash register added to the overall durability, making it a reliable choice for energetic kids. One of the standout features of this playset is the incredible variety of toy food items included. From fruits and vegetables to snacks and beverages, the play foods provided endless possibilities for creative scenarios. The attention to detail in the design of each item is impressive, sparking his imagination as he engaged in pretend play. The realistic scanner and coffee machine added an extra layer of excitement (and noise) to the overall experience.     • Pretend Shopping Made Easy
Putting this together was very simple, the instructions are a bit vague but the base structure is made up of around 5 pieces so it isn't that hard to figure out (If you've worked with IKEA furniture you'll be fine). The pieces click into place and are pretty sturdy, unless you try to tear it apart it should hold up with kids. Sticker-wise everything is clearly shown on the box making it a fun process for you and the kids (Had trouble with one camera lens looking sticker that didn't go on the scanner). The biggest draw is the boxes of foodstuffs (pizza, sushi, candy etc.) which I recommended setting up yourself. Its mostly folding pieces to make a box which can be troubling depending on the age of the child. Ever been pestered to go shopping by the kids who want to buy buy buy? This pretend shopping experience is a great alternative where you can play customers/cashiers with them. Using the coins provided we're working on basic arithmetic. This is a great product which I recommend. (Kids can get crazy with the scanner toy especially the beeping noise it provides, be ready to take out the batteries for your sanity) ... show more
