One of my friends was feeling super down some very horrible and bad things had happened to her when I purchased the bear, so when it came in I called her an asked if she was free an I knew she would be at work so I was already on my way there when she said no, that she had to work and asked why so I said I was hoping we could get some coffee an chat for a bit, so when I popped in to her work she broke down that I would drive a couple towns away an spend the day at her job, we had lunch an when she was leaving I had parked next to her car which was lucky, an she saw the bear in the front seat. She broke down again in the parking lot, to be honest I was more worried someone would think I was being mean to her, but for the first time I had heard her snort laugh and giggle it was the weirdest and cutest thing I’d seen. My daughter has owned Reddington for 2 years now, not a single tear, rip, loose stuffing, loose eye, loose bow, NOTHING! It survived a house fire! Small back story, I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Cam in a vaccume sealed bag in a giant box. Well packaged. I stored it for Christmas and my house burnt down a few days later. While searching through the aftermath I noticed the box was practically untouched. Upon opening the box the bear was still completely vaccume sealed. Upon removing from the bag the bear smelled as fresh as when he was packaged. After a quick wash via the tag instructions to remove an trace of harmful leftovers and he's been a happy member of our family since! Sometimes my daughter will insist he goes on car rides, which he'll take an entire seat himself. Amazing buy! ... show more

Pros: The picture does not do this teddy bear any justice. I knew it'd be tall, but I didn't know it'd be so full and well rounded out! I barely had to fluff anything at all. It's super soft, doesn't leave lint everywhere, and seems to be made out of quality materials. Super cozy to lay on and it has a nice heft to it! The eyes also came with a protective film over it which I thought was pretty thoughtful. It was pretty funny to see a big Bear come out of such a small box. Cons: it did smell a little funny coming out of the box but nothing a little airing out and a decent odor neutralizer can't fix. The mouth is made up of a string that is only fixed at the corners and center, cut it and there goes the smile. For the price I was expecting it be done a bit better, maybe even embroidered on. Overall, I'm happy with the bear and my girlfriend is even happier. ... show more

I think the other reviews said it all - this is a good value for a giant sized teddy bear. Our son earned 50 of his 100 stars - this was the prize for #50. It could have been the prize for #100 as he loves it. It is bigger than a grown person - taller and wider. He has a double bed and he sleeps on the teddy bear's arm like he is snuggling with it. We have to have the bear above the blankets in the sheets unless we switch his Star War sheets to queen or king sized. That's how big it is. We were worried about it being not his style, but with the earth-brown color and the size, it was perfect. ... show more
