These curtains are very heavy and defiantly block out light and cold. They look like denim or a jersey tee shirt type material. But they look nice hung up. They say navy blue but have a purple tint to them. The wash well, but do not use the laundry sheets on them, these curtains came out with streaks all over them, (never had that with anything else I wash with the sheets) but were fine when washed with liquid laundry soap. They dry fine, but I had on low heat for 10 minutes then went to no heat for 80 minutes and they came out fine with no damage to the backing. Nice set. These are a good heavy curtain. They have a white, side that faces the outside. This will satisfy apartment managers who often dictate curtains appearing white from outside the window. They are heavy and block a lot of light. I'm not sure about the blackout claim, but they block a lot of light. They look very good, and I like the Sage Green, which is a light green and a pleasant color. I compared them to a pair of similar curtains, same style, type of fabric and construction, also from Amazon and these are a heavier fabric. Overall, they are good curtains, and the sage green ones seem to be true in color to what I see on my screen. Of course, that all depends on how your monitor is adjusted. 5-stars.

I got the sage color in these drapes. Out of the package, I noticed they were very thick and heavy. Make sure you have a thick curtain rod to sufficiently hold these drapes up. The fabric themselves seem to be of good quality. They do come very wrinkled since they are folded up in a package, so you might want to try and cool iron them or steam them back to nice and crisp. They are true to advertised size, thick enough to match the claims of thermal and sound insulation, and look high quality. The blackout works well - since they are thick, the sun does not shine badly though the drapes themselves. Unless you have the "wrap around" drape rods, they won't block out light 100%. Or near to. The color was lighter than I expected - it's more of a bright pale sage green. Honestly, I was looking for more of a darker sage green. I don't know yet if I will keep these or find something else. We shall see!

Opting for the black color, I got these drapes and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were thick and provided exceptional coverage for my windows. The items are the correct size as advertised, sufficiently thick for light, and appear to be of high quality. The blackout is doing its job perfectly, blocking sunlight. It's difficult to evaluate energy efficiency, so we can't make any comments on it. Because they are folded up in a package, they do come very wrinkled. Apart from the extremely slow shipping, we’re happy with everything else.

I like the dark grey color. The curtains are heavy and of a nice looking material with a soft texture. I don't think I have the right curtain rod to take full advantage of the blackout feature but they do seem to block a majority of the light as is and if I hold them tight against the edges of the window they seem to block almost all light.

The curtains are very nice. The rings at the top are quite large, but you probably need a pretty sturdy rod, these curtains are quite heavy. They block the light completely, and the material is nice and sturdy. The color looks just like the photo. We are enjoying them. I would purchase these again.

Joydeco made some beautiful thermal blackout curtains. Extremely well stitched and made out of really good durable materials. These curtains have some serious weight to them so be sure to anchor your curtain rod and you won't be disappointed with these curtains.
