I have on large window with a direct southwestern exposure to prevent the room from getting too hot. They are easy open and close, and prevent fading of my upholstery and furniture/flooring. The look of these is exactly what I was wanting “linen” look! They are a think plastic like material with good quality. They are amazing blackout curtains. A heavy curtain with a grey backing. My only negative is that it is almost impossible to iron out the wrinkles! They don’t lay as nicely when you start ironing out the seams so I tried to keep those on the pleats. I love how heavy & luxurious they look. I must admit they wrinkled easily & it was a pain to get the wrinkles out. I saw afraid to use the iron, so it took forever w/ a steamer. The fabric has a plastic type of feel to it, but that’s what makes them great at blocking the light. I often forgo decor for functionality when it comes to bedroom curtains b/c I need it completely pitch black in my room. These curtains definitely did it for me! If you’re an overnighter looking for fully blackout curtains that arent too heavy for curtains rods, but still blacks out the room… this is it! ... show more

Great Product Saved money 2 ways! I ordered these curtains for my vacation rental condo in Panama City Beach, FL to replace the original very expensive custom made curtains that did not match the new décor after the condo was remodeled. Guests like to sleep in when they are on vacation so keeping the bedroom and the living room with a pull out sofa sleeper dark in the morning is very important. I was surprised at the quality and blackout effectiveness of these curtains. But the real and unexpected bonus is they are thermal insulated and reduce the heat from the southern exposure to the sun through my sliding doors resulting in a lower electric bill and less strain on the AC system. Because the price is so low I thought it would take more panels to cover my wide windows and sliding doors so I actually ordered too many. I did not return them because sooner or later the curtains covering the sliding door opening will get holes in them from guests shutting the door on them. ... show more
