No bumps!

These razors are great. They glide easily and leave my skin feeling smooth. Also, I don't get bumps after shaving sensitive areas. I continue to buy these razors and they do exactly what they are supposed to.

i love this shaver & blades. head moves with the area being shaved, minimalizing cuts. the mutiple blades work very well to remove hair in one swipe. this is my second purchase if this razor, & i’ll buy another in about 10-12 years; which was how long my first original Joy shaver did. i like that multiple blades work so wonderfully. i love how long smooth my legs are. i guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Really good, but not great

Closest shave ever!

I've been looking for a new razor for quite a while. I've tried several brands over the past year ranging from very inexpensive to rather pricey. I tried 3 blade and 5 blade. The first couple of shaves, they mostly gave a similar experience in closeness, but some were already getting a bit dull. My criteria: I need it to give a close shave without damaging my skin. It needs to give a consistent result. It needs to feel good in my hand. Preferably non disposable with easy to find replacement blades. An affordable price point and if possible, look pretty in my shower! After all my research, this was my winner! It met all my criteria and more. The only slight con I noticed- being that this particular package does not come with a safety cover. I don't have small children in my home & I don't travel often so not a big deal for me but it could be for some. I even tested how long I could go between shaves. Keeping in mind I have lighter colored hair and it's not thick or coarse. I went 11 days. I started to feel stubble on day 7 and on day 11 I was able to actually see the hair. I think that's pretty darn impressive! Another stand out for me was how good it felt in my hand. It has a little weight to it and is evenly balanced. It's also covered in a grippy rubbery material and doesn't slip out of my hand. There are a few colors to choose from as well. All in all, it was a lengthy search but well worth it in the end. I hope my experience will save you from a years worth of trial and error!

Not much JOY here…

I must admit, I was swayed by the glowing reviews for the "Joy" women's razor by Gillette, but alas, my experience was anything but joyful. After a year of enjoying the smooth glide of the Flamingo Women's Razor, I fell for the hype and decided to give Joy a try. Big mistake. The first thing I noticed was the feel of the razor itself. It seemed rather cheap, reminiscent of those disposable razors you grab in a hurry from the grocery store. The Flamingo, on the other hand, feels sturdy and luxurious in my hand, making my shaving routine almost a pleasure. When it came to the actual shave, Joy missed the mark entirely. Instead of gliding effortlessly across my skin like the Flamingo, it felt like it was dragging, causing irritation on my tender underarms and legs. It's not the smooth, near-perfect shave that I'm used to, and I found myself longing for my tried-and-true Flamingo. In the end, I'm disappointed that I let the positive reviews steer me away from what I know works best for me. Now, I'm off to order additional replacement blades for my far superior Flamingo razor – the ones I should have ordered in the first place. Lesson learned: sometimes sticking with what you know is the best choice.
