This was a great bargain boot. Pros: * Waterproof, comfortable, good-looking boot that is < $50 * Size was good/as expected so it fit. * Good grip, reasonable wear * Light boot Cons: * laces are not very durable, I may replace them in the first season. * Lacks the easy-to-snap-in top lace holes like some boots have, so when removing the boot you end up lacing/unlacing that one (or two) last laces each time you put it on. * The strap for your finger to put the boot on the back of the shoe is too small for your finger, can't really use it, so you have to pull the boot on with the boot itself, so less perfect. Overall I would say great boot for me! I wear them in the winter but live in the south, so these are vacation boots for me. I suspect they will last me a long time. If you live in the snow/wet/muddy area I would not recommend this boot just because it would not be durable enough and the small cons would get annoying if worn daily.

These boots are lightweight and breathe well. Very suitable for walking around south Texas as it is still mainly warm to hot in February. These are intended to be work boots and will get significant use. I found the soles to be light and thin as well, maybe a little too thin. Not an emergency, but a pair of Dr. Sholl's insoles are on order. The Dr Sholl's, are to add another layer as otherwise I'm able to feel pebbles through the bottom of the boot. The tread pattern is good, but another 1/8" of material would be a welcome addition to v2 of the boot.

not much cushion inside but they are not bad. will work for light duty yard work and such. tried to put in some insoles, but then way to tight (so maybe I should have bought a 1/2 size larger or maybe they will stretch a bit...). they will work for now.

Seriously, these are nice boots. Couldn't wait to take a walk in them. Put on the pair and they're too small. I wear a size 10 shoes/slaps in every pair I've got. These are too small for a size 10, they cramp my foot at the front and sides. My feet are not wide either. I always get a 10 medium. Really bummed to have to send them back, would rather be walking in them. At least they didn't leave the house so no wear on the shoes at all.

I love them and I can walk further with these than any of my other shoes or boots and they do not hurt my feet! They had sharp edges on the inside of the eyelets and the original laces frayed in just a few uses. I replaced the laces and rounded the edges of the brass eyelets so it would not happen again. They are very good shoes otherwise, great looking, very light weight, great soles and padding.
