These boots ran very large, order .5 to 1 size lower. Not waterproof, feet were soaked walking across a wet lawn. Otherwise good overall quality, soles rugged, grip was good as advertised. Good for people not concerned with being waterproof.

Brought these to replace the old 6-year-old waterproof hiking boot that cost me over 200 dollars. Claim to be waterproof hiking shoes. They are NOT. Claiming to be a good hiking boot. That is debatable. They do a good job holding in water. No, I did not walk into ankle-high water, a river, or a pond. It rains and snows a lot from where I am from and there are water puddles. These puddles are 1 to 2 inches at most. I avoid walking into anything too deep. They barely survive a single day of hiking. I hiked for hours and these boots were not waterproof instead they kept the water inside. I was careful, I stay away from rivers, water puddles that were deeper than 2 inches, and I had rain gear on that covered the top of these boots. But these boots couldn't do what they were advertised. BE WATERPROOF. Instead, they were more like Water storage hiking boots. They did a good job holding water in and keeping my feet as wet as possible. Don't claim that your product is waterproof and when it is not. Doing that means your company is lying. So I am returning your lies to your company. Also, I am never buying from your company again. Also, don't remove or delete my complaint. I brought boots based on your lies. They were "Waterproof hiking boots". Why would you think I would buy waterproof hiking shoes? To hike in an area that has rain, water, and puddles. You know... what waterproof hiking boots are used for. Don't tell me that they're not waterproof if water gets into the boots. I know that, why would I let the water sink into my shoe. I avoid walking into deep water puddles, ponds, and rivers. I wore waterproof pants that cover my ankle and covered the boot. It was raining that day but my old waterproof shoe kept my feet dry. Yours kept my feet wet and carry enough water to fill half a shot glass. Lesson learned I paid for what I get. Cheap 40 dollar shoes that were built on lies. I will go back to my old real waterproof hiking boots. They might be extremely worn but at least they are still waterproof and have been for over 6 years.
