I make high end work boots for a living, so I was very skeptical when I couldn't find info online about what type of construction this maker uses on their boots. After inspecting it as best as I can without disassembling the bottoms, these seem to be made with goodyear construction, though I was thrown by the rubber welt, as I'm used to leather being the welt material. However, I can see the bump at the bottom of the sole where the support shank is, and the stitching seems heavy and durable. They're immediately more comfortable than caulk constructed boots like Doc Martins! ... show more
