After reading ALL the reviews on this boot, most specific, the review that said she normally wears a size 8-8.5, which is also what I wear, that she ordered the size 7 and they fit perfect. So I followed her lead and also ordered a size 7. Guess what?? Way to small!! I will be returning and ordering a size 8…… Very aggravating and time consuming. Hope this helps someone else. I rarely wear boots because they never fit comfortably due to wide feet and high arch. Usually wear a 9 in shoes and bought a 9. My foot easily slid in and felt comfortable so the boot probably does run big. I will have to wear socks because the boot is loose around my ankle and will rub but otherwise a great purchase.

I use the boots to garden. I have to do a lot of climbing and balancing to weed areas on a wall. These boots grip well and prevent me from falling. Great buy!

These are hefty! A lot heavier than expected, which is good, as I feared they'd be flimsy simply because they're pretty, as a lot of things for women tend to be. They're sturdy, well-soled, and fantastically water-proof. I stress-tested them on a stormy day and not only did they hold up well and keep my feet dry, they were excellent traction in awful, brackish mud. The downsides are sizing, fit, and comfort. I had to purchase a half size up from my usual shoe size to fit (7.5 US, but I had to get an 8), and they're, of course, a little loose. If you're like me and need a half-size, order up, because the extra room will let it fit you at all. The inner part of the boot is lined only on the bottom and with faux-fur, for a strange feeling if you're not a fan of that. They don't have much arch support or similar, feeling mostly flat, so wearing these for more than an hour without a more structured, supportive insole was very uncomfortable.

I absolutely love these boots! The only thing is that the sizes run big...for example, I can wear a size 8 or 8.5. I ordered an 8 and had to return them for a 7 because my feet were swimming in them. The 7 fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I walk dogs at our shelter and walked 12 dogs today for 3 hours and had no issues whatsoever. Would definitely buy them again!
