So, I gave this utensil rack 5 stars for thickness(?), sturdiness and easy to clean....HOWEVER.....I give 3 stars overall as I REALLY don't like the fact that my silverware sits in a pool of water in 3 out of the 4 slots. What I mean is, the removable bottom, which is great for cleaning (easy to clean!), collects the water and it sits there. Next time you do a wash, there's the pool of water from the previous wash still sitting there collected on the bottom. (MOST people will not drain excess water out of this thing after each wash.....) Just about any other utensil holder I have owned has holes at the bottom of the holder to drain the water out so your utensils are not sitting in pooled water. They needed to design this so there is a bottom to the "rack" part, and the water collector part under that. ... show more

I like the fact that I can separate my utensils for drying. The only issue I have is the water doesn't drain completely on its own. I have to empty it or put something under it so it's at an angle to drain.
