Could have better sealing
Color: White
I would expect better engineering from the brand. It could have vacuum sealing like oxo pop containers. And if there would be smaller size it would be more convenient & efficient.

A great investment!
Color: Black
I make my own bread, this bread box keeps it fresh for a week! We can finish the whole loaf without it molding or getting dry! Well worth the investment!

Don’t love it.
Color: White
It is SO much larger than anticipated. Dominates the counter, looks out of scale. Yes, I double checked the measurements, but interpreted the width as the 7.5” given which is actually the height. The wood top is beautiful and functions smoothly; not experiencing hassles other reviews cited. The plastic base is smooth and shiny, I would prefer a texture and dull finish. Overall, it will function just fine as our countertop bread box but I don’t love it and I really wanted to!

Perfect Bread Storage!
Color: White
I've been looking for a product to store bread for a long time and was so happy to find the Joseph Joseph bread container. It fits perfectly in my drawer and is deep enough to store more than one item. I Would recommend this product!

Mold forming on bamboo lid
Color: White
The first time I saw the greenish colored mold it was in just a couple of places and I immediately washed it with a bleach solution. The second time today it seems to be more pervasive so I did some research on mold forming on bamboo. What I found was disturbing. There are three common types of mold with greenish spores that include Cladosporium, Aspergillus and Penicillium. Like all mold, green mold is toxic and poses as a health risk to humans. There are three recommendations for solutions to remove the mold either containing vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, or baking soda. I will try to clean it one more time since I am beyond the return period and have nothing to lose. I am concerned that the mold is actually in the wood. Bamboo seems to be a poor choice for this application, since under the lid, this surface is in a dark damp environment, conducive to mold growth and bamboo seems to have a reputation for mold.
