Very functional product - love being able to put the empty pistachio shells in the bottom bowl. However, I wish the bottom bowl was slightly larger. I've washed this on the top rack of my dishwasher several times and it has held up - very easy to clean!

Joseph Joseph never disappoints with delivering unique utility. I love eating pomegranates but after struggling to peel them, eating and collecting the pips was a messy business until I got this bowl. So much easier now. Cherries and pistachios are also favorites and I’ll also use this while snacking on those as well. Cons: the bowl is small and I wish it were a little bigger. It’s also not super durable. My initial order came with the outer bowl chipped. Amazon was good with shipping me a replacement the very next day so no big deal. Overall I’m enjoying it! ... show more

Great product if you like having pistachios to easily snack on around the house or for events. This can also be used for other food items, it’s great for whatever you want. It is sturdy (but not too bulky), and effortless to own and maintain. My only thought is that while the space with the bottom bowl for shells & the hole size for putting the shells in the bottom bowl are sufficient, it would probably be better if those parts were bigger (does not have to be a lot bigger). I love this entire brand. They take needed everyday utensils, improve them, and release them at a decent and fair price. I do wish some designs could be even cuter but the standard designs and variations are still cute enough. I do wish all color schemes were offered with every product so more things could match but I never have everything matching anyways. ... show more

Okay, I returned this green one, I just couldn't deal with looking at that 70's avocado but I got a gray one elsewhere for less than what Amazon wanted. It works great, holds a good amount, there was NO difference in size or shape between the gray and the green, like some reviewer had noted. That was one reason I wanted the green, if the gray was smaller, because of that reviewer, but it was not true, as I didn't return the green until the gray came and I compared and held them to each other. But I couldn't live with the green color so there's that. I actually got this for my husband who eats a lot of pistachios and this is very convenient where he doesn't have to fish them out of the bag and throw the shells in a bowl. He was skeptical and thought it wouldn't hold the shells, but there has been no issue that I have observed and he grabs this bowl each time, I have had no trouble using this myself. It's been very handy. Just make sure to handwash as it is melamine, which would warp or melt in the dishwasher. ... show more
