Everything in this kit is shockingly good quality - the wood isn't ultra thin and the paint is also pretty good. The only complaint I have is the white requires a number of coats and you can still see the numbers through it even after your 4th pass. Everything else is a good balance of buildable and pigmented making it good for beginners in case you go outside of the lines and want to try to correct the shape with the next color. I'd say the lowest quality part of this kit is the tassels. They're clearly made out of a cheap acrylic yarn and the bead seems pretty cheap too. But otherwise, everything else in the kit is so nice for the price that I think it can be overlooked.

Overall this was a fun and relaxing little paint kit! It comes with 4 wood bookmarks and 4 tassels - 1 to tie on each bookmark. It is a typical paint-by-number style where each bookmark has a printed outline and numbers telling you where to paint certain colors. As a result the painting process was relaxing and the end result was very pretty. The kit comes with 6 paint colors, all of which were well-pigmented, and 2 sizes of paint brushes which were decent quality. I ended up using my own paint brushes instead of the provided ones but that was a personal preference. The only minor issue I had was that sometimes the wood cracked slightly after painting or the paint appeared uneven - however I think this may just be something that happens when you're painting wood due to its texture rather than a fault in the product. Overall this was a fun & relaxing project, and the bookmarks will make great gifts!

Great gift for those who love art and reading! This design is very unisex but this is a project for those at least 10 years old and up I would say. The paint and brushes are nice, though I wish the paint was slightly larger and more brushes were included to share the bookmarks.

For the price, around $2.50 per wooden bookmark with tassel, the set of four is a nice, approachable project. The four wooden bookmarks come along with four pink tassels, one pointed paintbrush and one flat paintbrush, and a strip of six numbered paints, corresponding to the numbers on the bookmarks. Do note that the lighter colors require multiple coats in order to cover up the beige wood color underneath and any numbers. I chose the black cat on staircases patterns, and my main frustration with all of them was that these patterns really rely on your ability to paint perfectly straight edges and lines if that’s something that bothers you, the other two possibilities are potentially less annoying.

Review of the JOOZ Mountain Paint by Numbers Kit for Adults, 4 Pack Wood Bookmarks Paint by Numbers. I got these for myself to do this winter. They are simple bookmarks that you paint by numbers. Thoughts: - The paint was fine and there was enough for all 4 bookmarks - It comes with two paint brushes, one larger, one small - For the lighter colors the numbers bleed through the paint. - I liked these because they are small and don't take long to finish. I have paint by number paintings that I don't want to start since they will take weeks. - The bookmarks are made from a light wood and come with a tassel. - For $10 (what they cost as I write this) they are not too expensive. If you are looking for a little creative project to do on a winter day and/or with the kids, these are not bad.

These turned out better than I was expecting. The numbers are clearly visible and the paints go on easily. There is enough paint for all four bookmarks. The kit also comes with two paint brushes (standard cheap brushes, nothing special) and four tassels ready to be tied to the completed bookmarks. The only issue I've had is that the two lighter colors require multiple coats to cover up the numbers so that they aren't visible through the paint. Darker colors require only one coat. These were fun to paint and will make great gifts.
