I made 3 attempts to all Joola about a piece that was broken on my table before writing this review! I only felt that was fair. The table is AMAZING. Love it. I have a broken piece that MUST be replaced to be able to put this half of the table in the upright position and STAY there. If someone from this company reads this (I'm hoping) I NEED to get a replacement piece. Without it, I'm in bad shape. Just so everyone knows!

first let me say this review is how I feel right now it could go to to 5 stars or remain there depending on what and how fast Joola takes care of problem. Set up was easy, table looks strong and very playable delivery by amazon was very fast and the packaging was great, not the cheap cardboard box. The problem is the casters. after assembling it was put in place on concrete in my backyard under a huge deck. After trying to level I realize the deck is not level, not the tables fault, I decided to buy a 1" x 4" x 8' piece of treated wood to screw into the concrete that worked very well and we started playing. All is great but not so fast being the weather in northern N.J. has foretasted heavy rain for a week straight I decided to move the table to the side of the deck that no rain fail on, but when doing so 2 caster split apart just plain broke in half. These casters are nowhere to be found home depot ,lowes, ace, so the only replacement is call Joola but they have no hours on the weekend. So I will call Monday and see what they do and how long it will take to get new ones. Rolling off a one inch piece of wood should not break a caster now I worry about the other six casters. maybe it is just a freak accident I should know soon and update with results.

Chose THIS product on Amazon SOLELY due to the "fast, free shipping" and the "10 minute easy assembly." I SHOULD'VE paid attention to the numerous reviews that complain about the product arriving damaged. I was stupid, impatient and cheap so I took a chance and got burned. Yes, it arrived in a few days, just in time for the weekend with the family! Yes, it arrived damaged like everyone else's (see pics of crushed metal table legs). Yes, our weekend of ping pong with the family & friends was ruined. Yes, I'll now have to do a return or replacement - either of which will mean ANOTHER week and MORE hassle. Yes, there will be no guarantee the new one arrives any better and we just spend our holidays dealing with this. Who knows what other damage it has on the OTHER side of the table - I didn't even lift it out of the box to inspect. As soon as I opened one end and saw the damage I said NOPE and started the return process. I'm not going to hoist this out of all the packaging just to be responsible for re-packing it. Frankly, the delivery drivers should NOT have accepted it at the warehouse or brought it to my house in the first place. The box was dented in a couple of places and a couple of shipping straps were broken so the box lid was only loosely on (gaps where pieces could've fallen out). If they had asked me to sign for it, I wouldn't have because of the evident damage to the packaging - at least not without them standing there while I opened it for inspection. But Amazon doesn't worry about those things - there was no inspection and no signature. As soon as they set the box down they left. Amazon shipping is good for managing a hard-to-damage, small household product. I get stuff from Amazon that weighs like 2 ounces, yet comes in microwave-sized boxes FULL of bubble wrap and padding. Of course it's rarely damaged - it's easy to carry, easy to stack in a van, and hard to damage something like that. They've delivered shoebox sized boxes with a whole corner crushed and it didn't affect the small printer ink packs inside. Amazon shipping (the cheapest shipping possible - gotta maintain profits) is NOT good at heavy, bulky, oversized or expensive products. Even the poor Amazon delivery drivers who showed up were perplexed at how to unload or move the thing. Having moved appliances and furniture myself, years ago, I could see they had not been trained, and weren't provided the proper equipment for the safety of the product or themselves. They were trying to lift this 200 lb, 6 ft product by the edges of the box, which predictably failed, and caused them to have to wrestle it out of the truck and shove/slide it on concrete over porch steps. Amazon actually SELLS the furniture dollies, cloth lifting straps, and the back supports this team should've had. lol That's the irony. Anyways - have no idea if the table's any good or not. There are already a hundred reviews on here and elsewhere if you want to know how this table compares to a higher end product like a Cornilleau. My recommendation - go to your local, physical game room store and pick up your own, hand-inspected table, or have them deliver it. Spend the money on the high-end table and pay them to assemble it for you. They do this for a living. They know what they're doing. Remember - you get what you pay for. There's a reason the higher-end tables only have a hundred good reviews and the budget tables like this have a thousand. Because more people gravitate towards a less expensive product. So you get more reviews from people with lower expectations. Less people buy the more expensive tables and the people who do usually deal with game room specialists - not big-box Amazon. So you get less reviews on the expensive tables. Don't let that mislead you like I did. Like most of the purchasers on here, I gambled thinking I could save time/money on a cheaper table from a warehouse company like Amazon. I ruined our weekend plans and just created more hassle in the long run. God only knows if the "replacement" will look any better. I'm actually going to see if my local store has a better table in stock - the table we wanted with a matte surface for reduced glare, better wheels, and easier fold-up/down for solo play. You know - the ones where the net remains in place and you don't have to waste time taking it on/off or hoping the kids won't lose it and are capable of screwing the net on/off without scuffing the table. If I can go get it faster than Amazon can process this "replacement delivery" - like if they have one in stock I can go pick up today - I may just cancel this replacement asking for a refund instead and go get my own table. Even borrowing a friend's truck (or renting one for $20/hr from Lowes) would be less hassle than dealing with Amazon is going to be.

Our family wanted a ping pong table for the back yard patio. We purchased this particular model after researching a lot of outdoor tables. I wanted something that had good reviews for being an "outdoor" table, did not cost a fortune, and was easily moved when needed. This table checked off those boxes. My boys (age 12 and 14) have already put it to good use. We reside in N-California so we will leave it mostly uncovered during the dry months. However, we did choose to buy two covers for the table. A Kettler cover when covered in the upright position which would be during the rainy months and a Covermate cover that extends over the table when it is in the play position. The Covermate cover will work great to keep pollen and dust off when it is not in use or overnight. The surface of this table is our favorite feature. Overall, the table appears to be of good quality and we simply hope to get 5 solid years of use out of it. In regards to the installation- my wife put the table together in about 30 minutes and she took her time. My biggest worry was how the table would show up and whether it would have dings and scratches on it. The packaging was pretty impressive and we had no issues at all. This looks to be a solid purchase for our family.
