I read the mixed reviews about this product and took a chance. I pulled out the first half of the table and it was perfect. Pulled out the other and at first thought all was well. Then I noticed it was missing 11 screws on the underside. I searched everywhere. There they were in the box stuck to the glue of the box and others floating freely. One was severely bent. But still missing some of the screws. Also, I noticed when I replaced the screws they never seemed completely tight. I fear they are stripped. But no worries! Joola brags about its "Quality Guarantee!" So I filled out the form that requests all kinds of info that I carefully obtained off the teeny tiny print on the table. A day or 2 later I get an email requesting all the info I had just sent them (again) and to include a picture. Annoying, but I did it. Never heard from them again. So much for that Joola Quality Guarantee. ... show more

Exactly what I thought it would be. Perfect early Father's Day gift for my husband- we had so much fun playing ping pong at a resort recently I just had to get it for him. It's definitely not full-size but perfect for storage, folds out kind of like a card table and it's two separate sides that you hold together with the net. It's very sturdy we are going to use for outside in a covered area and I'm sure it will hold up no problem. At first I was concerned about the size and it being fun to play with but you can still play really well and get used to the size quickly. I have enjoyed Table Tennis since age 6 or 7. I always played on a full-size table. My wife and I (soon to be 68) haven't owned our own table for over 25 years and recently moved into a smaller home that has no room for a full-size ping pong table so we took a chance with this JOOLA Midsize and, within minutes, had it standing firmly on a carpeted floor in our basement family room where we have plenty of space all around it to play a lively game and get a good workout to boot. It arrived a week ago and we haven't been able to stop playing on it since. I am amazed at how quickly both my wife and I adjusted our playing styles to this smaller table. We absolutely love it and can't wait to teach our two grandkids (ages 5 and 8) to learn the game. It's perfect for young and old. Assembly was easy: Remove from box, open the attached legs of each half table, place two half tables together where you want to play, attach the net. That's it! I think it is very well made and attractive, quite solid and sturdy, with easy storage if taken apart and legs folded back under each half table. There are no wheels under the legs but, as the table is not too heavy, it can be easily shifted around on the floor, if necessary, with little effort by either one or two people. If I'm not mistaken, this JOOLA table is the same brand that the middle school where I taught for 34 years had ten of these in its cafeteria for use before and after school and also in the gym when the PE teacher used them for a couple of weeks each semester. I really can't fault this ping pong table in any way. Eventually we will buy a full-size JOOLA outdoor table to use in our garage, but, until we do, I think this midsize table is giving us almost all the same pleasure and exercise that a full-size table would give us. It will be interesting to see how we adjust our playing styles to the full-size after spending a few months improving our playing skills at ping pong on just this midsize table, but, as variety is the spice of life, I think it will be great fun to be able to play on either table, as we so choose, when the time comes. You won't regret buying this JOOLA midsize table tennis table and I recommend it highly and with no reservations. The price is right also. We expect to pay around $600 for the full-size table when we get around to ordering it, so the $154 we paid for this one doesn't seem unreasonable at all. If you wait a while, you might even find it for less. We weren't willing to wait for a sale price and I'm glad we didn't. Every day now I can't wait to hear my wife say the words, "Anyone for a game of ping pong?" Unless I say it first!! ... show more

We loved the size and easy installation when this arrived. However, we have now had this $200 table for 4 months and it’s falling apart. The piece that the net slips onto broke off and it cannot be glued, so basically we have nothing to hold the net up so the net sags. Also almost all the screws on 1 side under the table have actually fallen out and you cannot screw then back in b/c there is a big hole where they go and have nothing to grip onto anymore. So the piece hangs off. My 13 year old son plays with this table maybe 1 or 2 times a week so the normal wear and tear should be minimal. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and would not recommend it. ... show more

My husband and I recently purchased the Joola mid size table, though it was after an attempt at ordering a fullsize ping pong table that shipped completely damaged. I am very reluctant that we went with this Joola ping pong table mainly because of the size, we live in a single bedroom apartment with furniture wall to wall. The Joola table is the perfect size and nothing has to be moved to set it up. With that said the table is also an excellent playing size, by no means is it too small for people who are serious about playing ping pong for sport or just for fun. As far as storing the table the two halves are seperate pieces. The legs easily bend for a quick set up or to quickly take down and can fit along the wall or in a closet easily, with storing it always be careful to not get the table top scratched up. It easily fits into my small 4 door car and I take it to parties, just make sure you have plenty of ping pong balls because I woke up the day after and they had all been lost! With the two table halves being placed together to play ping pong there is not a way to fold one half to play by yourself, alot of full size tables have that feature. This is not a big deal to us, one half could always be put up against the wall if someone did want to practice alone. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product and think it is something we will have for many years to come. ... show more
