My dad loves paddle tennis but most of his friends have moved to pickleball. He said many gave him tips on paddles and he kept taking their advice. I got this, which has the same core as a standard paddle tennis racket, for him and he loves it. He says he wishes he never took his friends advice on those other rackets and just got this to start. I’m a fairly advanced player. I used the first generation Hyperion paddle for a couple years until the inside broke. Maybe it was too much celebratory paddle tapping. I liked that one so well that I bought this Hyperion C2. It should be a bit better right? The handle comes covered in protective plastic since it is new. I left that on so I could try out the paddle to decide if I wanted to keep it. Halfway through the first game, I took the plastic off. I have used the paddle for a several months now. Compared to the cheap paddles, this has more power and forgiveness. I recommend this to folks who just start to play pickle ball or have been using cheap paddles.
