Makes a terrible mess, leaves gold flecks all over. No directions for assembly, but used the picture on the box. After I ordered mine, the price dropped nearly $20.00 which I'm not happy about. It did take a long time to receive.

These deer are beautiful easy to assemble lights are attached. The only downfall was the stakes to anchor them down not effective in sod. I made my own as after first wind they all toppled over.

One pro to this set of deer was the magical bright blue white of the lights. Eerie and magical. The cons though were It came to use rusted (we bought a used one) but really rusty.. Also the deer had to be plugged into each other, meaning they were on one plug. Which would have been ok ish, but the cords were suuuuper short and did not offer much room for the deer to spread out. So they were like touching each other. Wasn’t a great look. Once we got word back from the seller that the deer were meant to be on ‘one plug’ we assembled them and also found that one of the legs had a missing peg to adhere it to the body. Which meant it was a fall off leg. Soo we are returning it. Pretty lights though.

1. The box came damaged, so we don’t know if the hardware was lost or if it was ever in the box. 2. Very hard to assemble. My husband had to use zip ties and make our own stakes to secure them. There were no instructions, so you have to just figure it out. 3. SO MUCH GLITTER! Do not assemble in your house or anywhere people will walk through it. 4. The wiring is faulty. It’s like a bad phone charger, the wires have to be in a certain position or it doesn’t work. Seriously DO NOT BUY this junk.

Hot tip: Instructions and zip ties are stored in the buck. For assembly, start with the fawn, then work your way up! Each deer was individually bundled, which helped. Attaching the legs was a bit confusing, because they weren't individually labeled and looked very similar between front legs and back leg. They are all prewired with lights and packed within the body with the head, so it can get a little tangled trying to get them to their "joint," but once you figure it out, it's a breeze. Start small, then work your way up to the buck. You'll be a pro by the end of it! It took us about 40 minutes, and it's helpful if two of you are working on it together. One to hold the body, the other to attach the legs and head. LOTS of glitter, so assemble them outside or where you're not too concerned about the leftover sparkly mess on the floor. The eye holes for the zip ties don't match up 100%, but they do match up to about 90%, which is totally acceptable, since the whole structure is pretty solid, especially once zip tied. Worth the $130 I paid for them, for sure!
