  • Love it
Easy to use works great

  • Not as well made as my previous game.
This was purchased to replace a Solitaire game I had for more than 20 years but then the pads became hardened and was no longer easy for me to use. This one I received a month ago and occasionally the pads wouldn't respond but I thougoht it was just taking a while to "break it in." Not so, yesterday the suits button wouldn't respond several time throughout the day and today there's NO WAY it will accept card in the suits stack. Too late to return but I wouldn't recommend buying it in the first place. It also cost twice as much as my first one. That's to be expected.Smartphones are great but are too heavy for someone with osteoarthritis. ... show more

  • Solid little handheld Solitaire game
I must like this little device because it's the 3rd one exactly like it that I've gotten! It's not that it doesn't last (it's been 20 years since I got my first one!). I'm so happy they still make it!!! When you've won the game completes itself. It plays one or three card solitaire. It doesn't light up, but all I wanted it to do was play easily and it does do that! I love it! ... show more

  • Reasonably good design with some game play nuances
I generally like to have one of these solitaire games around the house, and have had several different cheap ones over the years. In good light, I find this screen to be quite adequate, the keys are reasonably responsive, and the game play is fluid. There is automatic pickup when all outstanding cards are face up in the stacks. The highest score is maintained, but there is no running score, a feature I have found useful in other games. The row keys on this game are mislabeled as "STACK", while the instructions on the reverse side correctly refer to stacks as the suit collections in the upper right of the LCD display. So in this review, I refer to the suit collection as "stacks" and the face-up-face-down collections as rows. The key to activate the stacks is labeled "SUITS" but is called rows in the instructions. The staggered row keys take some getting used to, but they are carefully centered under each row in the LCD display, so it is not hard to determine which key goes with which row. I suppose that when you design a game like this, you have to pick a row key design that will likely have some cons to it. If you align the keys, they must be smaller (and more fragile) or spread out wider than the rows themselves. It seems to me this game's staggered choice is a reasonable alternative. Like all the other games I have tried, this one has some nuances. In this game, 1. You can only move the latest visible card of each stack to another stack. Other games allow you to move a set of top cards row to row, which I like better. 2. You can move a card from a stack to a row, but only from stack you first placed a card. Other games allow you to successively press the stack key successively to select each different stack (best), or pick a card from any stack that can go to the selected row (ok). There are also games that do not allow this feature at all (worst). 3. The New Game key is close to the other keys, but must be held down for a second to activate, preventing accidental tripping during a game. I judge this to be ok. Other games keep the New Game key well-separated (best), or it is near the others and easily tripped (worst). This game seems to be a reasonable design, with a few game play nuances, but ok for my purposes. ... show more

  • Item was new and ready for use
Extremely well pleased with this item . It’s brand new with absolutely nothing wrong with it and even the batteries In It worked. I look forward to buying a few more items from this vendor in the very near future

  • So hard to find but fun
If you are patient with this game and have good eyes you will be fine. However if you are older and not good at any technology, even simple stuff, you may be pissed at this game. I enjoyed this product a lot. However, it was for my 80 year old grandma. She loves these toys because they are simple and fun. This particular one was very difficult for her to grasp because you have a move a lot of cards and the electronic cards are tiny. Again super easy to use if you have young eyes and understand technology quickly. Game is fun for the price but be patient at first to understand solitaire. Other options were priced insanely high. Example a similar game was 75 bucks. Most major stores stopped carrying these items so it has been more difficult to find them, but don't pay anything over 20 bucks. ... show more

  • Portable
A family member loves these solitaire games and especially the fact that they are small enough to go wherever he goes. His last one broke unexpectedly and they couldn't figure out the problem and it was not the batteries. Hopefully, these two will last longer. Thank you.

  • Product is not even two months old before it became unplayable
After using this game beyond the return date, there appeared a “bleed” on the screen that obscured a number that continues to get worse.
