I love these jeans so much! Being short and curvy makes finding jeans a struggle...so many brands gap at the waist and are still too long for my legs. These are so soft thanks to the lyocell, look great with any kind of shoe (I'll mention that the bootcut opening is perfect, I have tiny feet and many bootcut or flare cut pants swallow my feet) and despite being super stretchy they don't bag out or look sloppy by the end of the day. I could've gone down 1 or 2 sizes but kept them because I needed them for a trip. In jcrew I wear a 30, 7 for all mankind a 31, kut from the kloth a 12 and in most Joe's a 31 if that helps with brand comparisons. I had to wash several times to try and shrink the length. Going to have to hem them. I bought petite, I'm only 5'6" and they were still too long in 3" heels. Love the fit but the fabric is too thin for jeans.

I absolutely love Joe's Provocateur jeans. They are perfect for my petite stature and my legs look amazing! The problem with most petite jeans is that they feel like wearing regular sized jeans that just got hemmed. The hemming is rarely the biggest problem for petites. Joe's Provocateur jeans tend to have a 32" inseam, and it's likely you'll still need a couple inches off the bottom. The best quality petite jeans focus on the right placement of the rear and knee breaks for the petite girl. I have tried other jeans for petites, such as Gap, Jcrew, and J Brand, but Joe's Provocateur jeans knocks them out of the water. Joe's Provocateur jeans feel like they were designed specifically for petite women and fit beautifully. But be warned, their sizing really varies from jean to jean. In my closet, I have jeans ranging from size 29 to 31. I wish they were more consistent, but all brands have flaws. In Selma, I fit a size 30. I absolutely love the dark blue color and the distinctive Joe's design on the pockets. ... show more

The wash on these jeans is an awesome soft, faded black, and the fit/length is fantastic for petites. The fabric is on the thicker side, but provides enough stretch to flatter those with a big booty and smaller waist. I usually buy Madewell jeans in petite because Joe’s tend to run extra long in length. Can’t beat this price for Joe’s Jeans! Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I would buy the same pair again. I am surprised that I am a petitte in Joe's jean being 5'6" but that's okay. Someone mentioned that those jeans shrink after washing and drying but it hasn't been my experience. I think they look the same after I have washed them and dried them. There is a little stretch to it so it makes for a very comfortable fit. The size 28 I bought is a little big in waist but it is okay with a belt. I definitely recommend this product. ... show more

I love these. Finally, a Jean made in the perfect length for me! Nice to not have to take them to the tailor and have them shortened! Very comfy and they look great on. The fabric is a little thick, but that is ok for winter wear. Very stretchy.
