Description

Use Jobe's Organics vegetable & tomato granular fertilizer with Biozome on all your vegetables & tomatoes. The Jobe's Biozome advantage for organic gardening: improves the long-term soil quality of your garden, increases root mass, promotes plant growth & helps your garden resist disease, insects, drought & other unfavorable conditions within a growing season. Delivers long- term benefits without chemicals. Jobe's Biozome is a unique & Proprietary blend of beneficial microorganisms Archaea, mycorrhizal fungi & healthy bacteria. Archaea, a recently identified microorganisms found in some of the planet's most extreme environments, such as hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor. In garden applications, scientists have discovered that these microbes actually clean the soil, returning it to a healthier, more natural state. Jobe's Biozome contains a proprietary species of Archaea that quickly breaks down complex hydrocarbons & minerals into basic nutrients & trace elements that plants readily absorb. Mycorrhizal fungi expands the surface-absorbing area of the roots by 100 to 1, 000 times, sending out filaments that act as extensions of the plant's root system, helping plants absorb more water & nutrients. In return, the fungi receive essential sugars & other compounds from the plant roots, fueling their own growth. Finally, the healthy bacterial strain in Biozome improves the soil structure & quality, keeping nutrients near the roots. Jobe's Organics vegetable & tomato granular fertilizer is OMRI listed & may be used in certified organic food production according to the USDA national organic program. Jobe's vegetable & tomato organic fertilizer is also available in a fertilizer spike or a water soluble mix for using in a watering can or hose applicator. • Jobe's Organics 09026 Fertilizer: A Review for Green Thumbs (and Those Who Want to Be)
As someone who loves fresh veggies but doesn't always have the time or skill for meticulous gardening, I was intrigued by Jobe's Organics 09026 Fertilizer. Its organic claims and promises of fast-acting results seemed too good to be true, so I put it to the test in my tomato patch. Here's the dirt: The Good: Organic Bounty: This fertilizer is OMRI-listed, meaning it's certified organic and free of synthetic chemicals. My veggies grew happily without any worries about harsh additives. Speedy Sprout: Jobe's Biozome, a blend of beneficial microbes, definitely lived up to its name. My tomato plants flourished within weeks, with noticeably more vibrant leaves and earlier fruit production. Drought Defender: Even during a surprise heatwave, my tomato plants held strong. The improved soil conditions thanks to the Biozome seemed to help them retain moisture and weather the dry spell. Pest Patrol: While not a magic bullet, I noticed a decrease in insect activity compared to previous years. The healthier plants seemed less appealing to hungry bugs, which gave me some peace of mind. Convenient Caddy: The resealable bag makes it easy to store and use the fertilizer. No more messy spills or lost product! The Not-So-Good: Potent Aroma: Some reviewers mentioned an unpleasant odor. While I didn't find it unbearable, it's definitely noticeable, especially right after application. Be prepared for a whiff of earthy funk. Mystery Microbes: The exact composition of Jobe's Biozome isn't readily available. While it seems effective, knowing more about the specific microbes involved would be reassuring for some gardeners. Not for Indoor Use: This fertilizer isn't meant for indoor plants. So, if you're hoping to boost your houseplant jungle, you'll need to find a different formula. Overall: If you're looking for an organic and fast-acting fertilizer to give your veggie garden a boost, Jobe's Organics 09026 is a great option. The Biozome technology truly seems to work, leading to healthier plants and earlier harvests. Just be prepared for the earthy aroma and the lack of detailed information about the microbes at play. • Really makes a difference in your garden.
I am a long time gardener being taught as a little kid with my dad. I had huge gardens when my kids was growing up and now I just do many garden beds. I tried this product out this year was amazed at the produce I got from each plants. I dug a little hole by each plant and added the fertilizer when the garden first started out with small plants and each one grew healthy. I even added it to the soil before planting the green beans and they did really well this summer. I kept adding it to the tomatoe plants and green peppers and more produce as summer went on. I was literally still picking tomatoes in October. I even stocked up for next summer because I liked this product so much. One bag did last me a long time because you do not need that much for each plant ... show more

  • New gardner here…
Applied this fertilizer as the package directs. I’m a pretty new veggie gardener and just have a small garden and raised bed for tomatoes Everything was growing pretty sluggish but it had been really dry season with not much rain and very cold nights. After putting down the fertilizer and then having a week of rain and now a week of sun everything is starting to grow pretty fast. Hard for me to know what the success is from and likely a combination of rain sun and the fertilizer. Anyways everything is looking lush and growing well. I’ll buy this fertilizer again next year for sure. I imagine it’s doing some benefits that are hard for me to recognize. Wear gloves. This stuff stinks and you’re hands will smell gross for a bit without gloves. Not a bad chemical smell but more like poop smell. ... show more

  • Great organic product.
Every single Jobe’s organic fertilizer I’ve used works very well. It strengthens the plants and helps with flower and vegetable growth. I highly advise you to store inside your home, in a dry place. After leaving the bag outside for a few weeks, there was mold inside the bag and I had to dispose of it. ... show more

  • Garden loves it but it STINKS!
I bought this fertilizer for my container garden, which had been pretty neglected in the summer heat- nothing would really grow anyways it was just too hot, or so I thought. Trying to keep it natural and as organic as I can while staying on a budget, this was the top recommended item in my gardening group, dry fertilizer wise. Added the amount recommended on the bag to a 5 gallon bucket (with 4 gallons of water) and stirred before distributing to my plants by watering can. Honestly had to wear a face mask with perfume, smells like a barn or chicken coop, because that's pretty much what it is, composted organic chicken poo. Beyond the smell, all of my plants have absolutely exploded in growth, just phenomenal growth. Went from 1 pepper in two months, to 25 peppers in a week! Barely made a dent in the bag, so the value is certainly there. Bag does just fine in the shed. Easy to use, add to bucket and fill or sprinkle lightly and then water. ... show more

  • Ok for planting.
I bought this for my tomatoes and peppers. The product itself is fine, it smells like a gerbil cage when you use it, but it goes away by day 3. In the future, I might use this again, but only at planting. The phosphorous is too low for the flowering/fruiting stage, and the amount you have to use is A LOT if your plants are big. (My tomatoes are 10' tall) This bag only had enough to fertilize 2 1/2 of my tomatoes, according to the directions, and I still had to use bone meal spikes to raise the phosphorous levels. I probably won't use this again, it was too expensive for how big my plants are. I would have needed 4 bags for 4 tomatoes & 4 peppers, and it still needed amending. Would have been ok at planting time, but still would have had to add nitrogen and potassium. Jobe's makes so many other products that work much better, I'm going to stick with the 6-18-6 fertilizer spikes and bone meal. ... show more
