Purchased another light that was highly recommended by Amazon and the motion on it wouldn't pick up at 10 feet no matter what I set the detection level at. This light operates exactly as advertised. Has a metal casing and all the settings work as they should. I like that the lights have shades that can be spun to direct where the light should go and block where it shouldn't go. It is under a carport so I can't speak to weatherproof. But the quality seems good and I don't see why it wouldn't be weatherproof. Very satisfied.

Bought this light a year ago. Works exactly the way I expected and advertised. Only challenge, the Motion Sensor stopped working so light stopped working in Auto mode. When it was working the Motion detection was very good. Gave it a 3 because the sensor stopped triggering the light turn on. GREAT customer support took care if it immediately. Overall the light is ok. it can be mounted under a soffet which is always a big issue. Finding ones that can be mounted horizontally vs on a wall is a problem. Brightness is just medium. It could be much brighter. There is no on feature like on most lights where you turn of and on and they are just on. You have to flip a switch under the motion detector itself. Range of motion detection is very bad. Maxed aout about 20 feet. To me this would be the minimum but it is set correctly is a measily 20 feet. I needed 6 but only bought 2 to try them out. I will be looking elsewhere for the other 4. ... show more
