Features

  • Darkens entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required, suitable to record movement/image blur in subjects such as waterfalls, streams, waves, clouds or any fast moving subject
  • Eliminates buying many fixed ND Filters as it is designed with a built-in rotating ring that controls neutral density ranging from ND2 to ND2000 (1 to 11 f-stop). The heavier the density, the slower your shutter speed will be
  • When using this variable ND filter at high ND values (9 f-stop or above) on wide angle lenses, it would appear "X" cross mark, vignetting, reflections or blur in the picture, this is unavoidable according to the structure and operating principle of a variable ND filter. If this is not acceptable to you, please go for a non variable ND filter, for example, a popular JJC brand fixed ND1000 10 f-stop ND filter
  • The filter is constructed from German famous brand optical glass that features 9 layers of anti-reflection coatings on each side(total 18 layers), making the filter anti-scratch, anti-static, oil and water-resistant
  • Compatible with any lens with 55mm diameter filter thread - This variable ND filter is double threaded, has 55mm inner thread(male) and 58mm outer thread(female), this design allows you to put on any 58mm thread accessories such as lens cap, screw-in type lens hood to the front of the filter

  • Great quality for the price!
Size: 82mm
For the price this is a great ND. I like the ND2 to 2000 better than the ND2-400 made by JJC because the outside adjustment ring on the 2-2000 is a little bit larger and easier to use plus the min and max point are hard stops too. Note that this ND does not click between those settings. On the rim of the filter is a series of dots and one line dash. On a 16mm lens you can go one dot past the line before you start to get vignetting. This is equal to about 7 maybe 8 stops. The last two dots are pretty unusable unless you start to get to a focal length of 50mm or above. At under 50mm on the 2 darkest dots you will see a pretty bad X mark. I don't see much if any of a color shift. I mainly use this for run and gun style video vlogging type videos. In and out of buildings and with bright days. I like the large range of adjustment on this vs other I have used that are limited to 2-5. I have had other NDs that cost several times this ND and I have a hard time justifying the cost of those more expense NDs. Maybe if you are getting paid for your work or producing small films go with the extra cost but for the vlogger, content creator crowd this works just fine. At $50-ish if I breaks Im ok with that but if it was $300 I would not be. ... show more

  • Works well for my needs
Size: 58mm
I used this on my Canon kit lens 18-55mm. Using all of the stops at 18mm and 55mm, I found no major problems. There was some color shift and exposure issues that can be corrected in post processing but no 'X' pattern. It's easier to carry this 1 filter around than to juggle 3 or 4 in my pack. I am not a professional photographer(or even close), but so far I am pleased with the results. ... show more

  • Know your thread size
Size: 58mm
This is a special set of rings that fit specific cameras for added depth or special effects. You can really bump i in class if you learn to use these.

  • Very handy filter to have
Size: 40.5mm
Note... I did not pixel peep but love this thing so far. In the past I have used several different ND filters on my DSLR. When I purchased my new mirrorless my main goal was video. Being able to make minor changes quickly while shooting is handy.

  • Worth the money
Size: 58mm
I purchased this for an upper level college class landscape assignment. My professor let me know that a common problem with variable filters is the vignetting or X on wide angle lenses or at higher stops on any lenses. The reviews let me know this piece would be no exception, but I only needed a 6 stop adjustment for my desired affect and for the price I got exactly what I hoped for. If you need more stops, look into other filters, or even a non variable set. But for a small investment, this filter is great and works well. I use a canon rebel t7 with the default 35-80mm lens and the 75-300mm lens with no vignetting on either of them while using this filter. ... show more
