Well made and easy to install if you have wide facia, at least 1" thick. It won't work on smaller facia boards. The clips have a groove for your lighting wire, so you won't get sagging lights. On heavier light strands, you may need a clip for each light.

Just got done removing all old nails and staples from the fascia on our home, and repaired and painted all of the trim. With the holidays coming, I didn't want to put new holes in the freshly painted fascia, and these clips fit PERFECTLY! Grip tight to the fascia and offer two different methods for mounting the lights. Longevity is yet to be determined, but they seem pretty 'stout.'

Update 11/20/22 They must have changed these to a different clip. The photos show measurements larger than what I purchased. These do come up when I click from my order. I was going to order more but I don't think these will work if they are indeed larger like they show. Plus they went up $8. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Most facia boards are 1x (1 inch thick) boards. The 1 5/8 will not work even though the end is 1 inch. Only issue with this set is they aren't very deep, don't clip much to the board. Going to see how they hold up with the winds this Christmas in the PNW.

These are made of fairly rigid plastic with "teeth" on the inside edges that are apparently designed to grip the wood by digging into it, which is okay if your railings (or whatever) are unpainted. Unfortunately, mine are painted white and the teeth were scraping the paint off. I tried super-gluing some soft rubbery pads over the teeth to protect the painted surface but the pads just came off. Finally gave up.
