If you want the Naghedi Nomad Tote without paying $315 then buy this bag! The quality actually seems better! Here is why. The base of the bag is removable so that if you want a more slouchy look rather than structured you can remove it. The strap is better: The Nag one is a flat band which makes it slip off the shoulder and hard to hand carry. This one is stitched rolled handle. Otherwise it seems almost identical (i saw the Nag in-store). This is lightweight bag too. Zero smell so I don't know what other reviewers meant. The color is a true lusterous jet black and same as Nag. material. Good strap length. Zipper quality on the pouch not great but adequate. Comfortable as tote or shoulder carry (stays put but hangs a few inches under arm). All this said, I am returning it because it hangs too high when worn on shoulder bag. Comfortable for most people but not for me sadly -- because the bag is gorgeous. But as a pure fashion piece it is 100% hit!

This is a beautiful bag. It is big enough to carry your everyday needs, but not so big that it overwhelms a smaller frame. It has a faint odor, which will fade in the next day. I just received it today and Iām already considering other colors. Save your money and buy this bag instead of the more expensive one. š

This (olive - right side) purse is a dupe for the N*gh*d* Nomad (black - left side). I got them both because I knew I was interested in the N*gh*d* and have had bad luck with plastic dupes in the past. I really like them both and can see myself using either/both of them before it really starts to rain in the PNW. Similarities: both are Bottega-inspired but vegan (neoprene) and a lot cheaper than BV. They are about the same size and have woven neoprene strips that will stretch a little when you put weight in the hobo-style bag. I think either would be a great travel bag. They close with a magnetic at the top and come with a woven pouch. The rigid purse base is similar in both. I didn't notice any bad smell with either bag. I'm not sure that the magnet closure would keep either bag closed, as it isn't super strong. Differences: The dupe's strap is woven into a cylinder shape and the strips' width are not consistent this leads to an interesting moire visual effect that I don't hate - it feels more like a feature than a bug. With the dupe, the magnet closures are sewn to the body of the bag. The N*gh*d* handle is flat so it ends up being wider across the shoulder. The weave and strip width is consistent. The magnets are on little flaps that are themselves sewn to the top of the bag. I didn't love that doing this created a line of visible stitching across the top of the bag. The pouches are fine - I thought the wrist strap for the dupe was ugly, but I can remove it. The main difference is price. I paid ~$65 for the dupe and $315 for the I didn't notice any bad smell with either bag. Conclusion: I'm not sure that the brand name one is $250 nicer than the dupe so am going to have to think about returning it, which I hate doing, or just keeping them both since they are both great totes. I received a leather bag! Even the inside pouch is made from a different material. I dont get it. In the second photo Im comparing it to my original mini one. If I had known this was leather I would not have bought it.

I was looking at the designer version of this handbag but just couldn't bring myself to spend that much. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and weight of this bag. The strap is long enough for me to wear on my shoulder, but I could see if you're wearing a thick coat, that the strap may be a bit too short. I purchase the black color and the color and weave is consistent throughout. I like the little pouch that comes with it to capture all of the little things I accumulate; it also helps because there are no side pockets on the interior of the purse. The only complaint I really have is about the quality/finish of the magnetic closure. It works just fine but it just doesn't look like it was finished very well. It's on the inside so the only person who really sees it is me so not a deal breaker.

I own Nāā-. This is a nice dupe but color off. Brown Suede is more russet with strong orangey undertone. It had no odor. It will go back because of the funky color. The faux suede has a fat yarn look and feel that looked cheap to me. I may try a different color but stick with neoprene, like the original bag. Overall they compare well. Strap felt shorter or bag was slightly taller so it was literally up under my armpit I think it will stretch out with a few wears as did the original version but this is starting as a snugger fit. Stitching around the magnets looks pretty wimpy. The price point is excellent which makes me want to give it another try.

I've been looking for a more affordable option to the brand named one. This is a great alternative! It is soft, yet durable. It holds the essentials and more. I really like the included pouch, as it acts as the "back zip pocket" that comes in many bags. The material does stretch as items are placed inside. The strap drop seems short at first, but will stretch and is comfortable to carry and I have large arms. Great value for the price and highly functional. Don't hesitate if you are considering!
