We purchased 3 of these cabinets for our new house June 2023. My husband is VERY handy and fully capable of most house-related repairs etc. He *HATED* these instructions to put these together. He said he was very tempted to send all 3 back as he tried to get the first one together. He luckily managed to just work his way through the parts on the first one and got it built by figuring it out himself. He could then put the remaining two together from memory. He started at 7am and wasn't done with all 3 until 2pm. He had to take breaks to cuss the cabinets out several times. The last box was an obvious return and one portion of the metal was bent. (Assumed that's why it was returned by someone else.) He refused to send it back because of the effort he'd put in so far that day. He managed to unbend that section and make it work. If that had been the first box we opened, he would have sent all 3 back to the vendor. Now that all 3 are put together and in the garage, they are beautiful, sturdy, and exactly what we wanted. If you chose to order these, just know that the headache to put these together may not be worth it to you. ... show more

I got this mainly for the locking door feature. It’s roomy and the shelves are adjustable, so it works well for what I need. However, the packing wasn’t effective enough to prevent it arriving bent in places, but since the metal is thin I was able to hammer it into place. It’s hard to find a cabinet that is medium size and over 12 inches deep, I looked every where in my city and found nothing that was that I needed to fit a space in my workshop. I came across this cabinet and pulled the trigger immediately after seeing the measurements. This metal cabinet is sturdy and assembles easily. The first cabinet arrived with the "shipping box" bent on one side. I opened the box and the cabinet frame was bent. I sent an e-mail explaining the situation. Another metal cabinet arrived 2 days later.

    • Can’t get a key copy made anywhere!!!!!
So the cabinet is fine but the key got lost and it’s impossible to get a key copy made- home depot can’t make me one neither can Lowes nor the mom and pop keys cut store I went to. So the cabinet is useless as I can’t lock it and not really any customer support to contact? Very disappointed
