These are nice curtains for the price. They seem to be good quality or a nice thickness to keep the light out. They are not blackout curtains, but they are for our dining room so that’s fine. They are easy to hang and easy to open and close.

I originally only left two stars because they are not 100% blackout in the California summer sun. SO WHAT! Now that I have had them a few days I just love them more and more. They look so elegant and completely make the room. They are dark enough at night. Upgraded to 4 stars. I am very glad I bought them. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Initially I was so excited about these curtains. They are soft and beautiful. Well made. The pattern lines up on both sets I ordered. Then the afternoon sun came. I tested them out by pulling them closed... A LOT of light still comes through. The pictures show actual light coming through the fabric, that is not a reflection. (I'm not talking about light at top, nothing can stop that.) This is not gonna be good when my neighbor leaves the porch light on all night. My old blackout curtains (similar style, weight, and backing) blocked everything. I've already hung them and theyre very cute so I'll probably keep them. But I won't be happy when I'm trying to sleep. ... show more

Very nice quality curtains but the background wasn't off white / ivory as seen in the ad - but more of a light gray so had a dingy dull look that didn't work as the walls are a warm beige / ivory color so had to return.
