These drapes were a pleasant surprise at an excellent price. I'd call them light filtering rather than room darkening, but they are perfect for the room they were purchased for. Very nicely made and no imperfections in the 6 panels I purchased.

These are great quality curtains - seem well constructed and true to size as listed, but I am finding it very difficult to get the wrinkles out. Washing & drying worked a little (very little) and my steamer that has never failed did not do much better. I may haul out the ironing board and iron to give that a shot but wasn’t anticipating so much time & effort to make them look presentable. As for the color, the white IS white - but not a stark/blinding white they are more of a soft white (which is perfect for us) but they are definitely NOT cream like some have said. See pic of the white curtains against cream Roman shades and trim and you will see they are white. If you can get past the fabric holding wrinkles then these are a great option at a great price point and I recommend them and would buy them again. ... show more

They really are room darkening - a minimal of light comes through them. But although they are room darkening, there’s enough light that you don’t have to turn the lights on. They aren’t as thermal as I wanted them to be (the sun glares into my living room causing it to be super hot - close to 80 degrees), but it did minimize the temp to 75 degrees which is something. The curtains are really nice... I made the mistake of thinking it came with 2 panels.... but it only comes with 1... So therefore you are paying way too much to get one set of curtains... I feel like there is other options that are just as good as good as these for the same price but come with 2 panels for a full set. Just for 2 windows I would pay over $100 for these curtains... they are not worth that. ... show more
